So I'm about to undergo a beard transplant. Some of my friends have noticed sometimes when I grow out my facial hair that I can only grow some on my chin and moustache, but that's about it. Now that I'm getting this transplant, It's really personal and I hope you guys understand that I'd want to keep this to myself rather than tell someone. I'm going to be off of work for the next two weeks after I do to recover from the scabs I received so it doesn't look obvious, but when I come back I'm going to have the beard transplanted (temporary because it's supposed to fall off and then the real follicles will come in due time) and they will for sure take notice to it. Now the question is, what's the best thing I could say in a situation where someone is like, "wow I didn't know you could grow a full beard.." "what'd you do to your face?" "you're asian, how'd you grow a beard all of a sudden out of no where?" I'm asian btw so it's rare for a guy to have a beard as an asian. Would it be almost as embarassing if I said that I started using rogaine and it worked? Or if I said that I could always grow a beard, but because I'm asian it'd look weird since no one was rocking them so I was always clean shaven..Anyone have any ideas for best things I could say? Something real believable and that makes sense! Let me know everyone. Also, if you say something like, "I've always thought telling the truth is a good option. I would much rather deal with a little embarrassment than keep up a silly lie for a lifetime."My response is:To me, it's like a female getting implants. Only few would have the courage to tell their friends the truth in that matter. I already said that I'm keeping this to myself and I understand your point, but still I'd rather do this path by a long shot. Anyone else got a great excuse I can use?
