Hey girls! I thought since I was so confused over the Garment/Faja thing that I would start a thread to help the newbies and those that just had their surgery sort through all of this craziness with Garments. Please share your own experiences with what garment your doctor used and style number/brand if you know it, did your garment have panties and bra attached, did you doc cut butt holes (hee hee I said butthole) out of it or make the sewn in ones larger, did you purchase your garments before you went to surgery, was your doc okay with the garment you purchased on your own, how long did you wear the garment, did you get your garment altered later, what brand/style do/did you prefer for stage 1 (right after surgery), stage 2 (a few weeks after surgery), and possibly stage 3, what websites did you find were the cheapest, etc. etc.

I have a High Back Mid Thigh Buttocks Compression Girdle with Center Front Zipper made by Isavela. Its a size Large. Its brand new never used. I ordered it from Make Me Heal on the 11th. Just received it ...opened it and realized I ordered wrong size. Make Me Heal will not exchange it because I opened it. Pd over $80 but will sell for $60. I will ship priority mail for free.

What do you guys think of this corset ( VERY inexpensive but looks like it would do the trick). http://www.lightinthebox.com/viscose-strapless-front-busk-closure-corsets-shapewear_p397114.html The Ann Chery looks good also ,as it's high back, and helps sweat out swelling and water weight. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ann-Chery-2027-Black-Latex-Vest-Cincher-Girdle-Body-Shaper-Faja-/151286477302

is it ok to wear a steal boned corset over the garment?
  • Reply
No boning, causes deformation.
  • Reply
No boning or corsets if you've had lipo. Nothing that can cause deformation in the area. At least for the first few months

I am 3 months post op and have just been rotating a compression shirt with every day shape wear and still had quite a bit of swelling esp trying to work out. I finally used my Faja Squeem that I purchased a while ago but could never get on because of swelling. I have only used it for 8 hours a day for the last 2 days and absolutely love it. Because of the rubber material is squeezes out water that I have been retaining but the cotton lining absorbs it all and I have totally seen a difference! My only regret is that I didn't put it on sooner!!!
