I Am 18 and I Want to Get Botox in my Top Lip, is That too Young? I have a very plump bottom lip and a very noticeable smaller top lip and I would like to get Botox injected in only my top lip, being 18 would you recommend that I wait ?

A: With some exceptions: Botox for upper face, fillers for lower face

Botox is a neuromodulator/neurotoxin that is typically used to efface lines that are created by muscle contraction. Therefore, it is effective for the lines between the eyebrows, crow's feet, forehead lines. As for the lips, restylane and other hyaluronics are suitable for "plumping" of the lower lip. It is also great for other areas that need more volume, such as the smile lines and tear trough areas. At your age, you are unlikely to have those last two problems.

In any case, go to an experienced board-certified injector for your injectable needs. Good luck!
