How Long to Wait for the 2nd Treatment for (Matrix) Co2 Fractional Laser Treating Acne Scars?

How long to wait for the 2nd Treatment for Co2 fractional later treating acne scars? Can I do it again after one month?

A: Fractional laser treatments for acne

Fractional CO2 laser treatments, such as the Sandstone Matrix CO2 laser, can be a great treatment for acne scarring.  Multiple treatments are often necessary.  I like to wait at least 3 months between treatments, but it is fine to wait more, even 6-12 months, as there are changes that continue in the deep dermis such as collagen remodeling.  Hope this helps.

Is There a Way for Me to Have Closer Breasts Without the Aid of a Push Up Bra? (photo)

I'm 1 month PO. I adore my new breasts! I love the size and shape. They are so close to perfection. All I wish is for them to be a wee bit closer together, without the aid of a push up bra. Are larger/wider implants the only option? I would feel comfortable going slightly larger, but cost is an issue. Please note I do praise the surgeon. He is very highly renowned. I understand he's done a fabulous job & that my anatomy may be making it difficult to achieve very close breasts. Thnk you.

A: Close cleavage

Thank you for the photos. You answered your own question -NO. Any closer and you risk a uniboob! You are 1 month out from surgery, and still look a little tight. Your tissues will relax over the next 6-12 months and I believe your cleavage will improve as well. Be patient, do not get larger implants.

Mysterious Abdominal Distention After Abdominoplasty, What's Going On? (photo)

I had abdominoplasty/double hernia repair 16 months ago. Shortly after, I noticed severe abdominal distention. I look at least 6 months pregnant at all times. The gastro Dr. has ruled out everything under the sun and the plastic surgeon (who I no longer see due a failed breast aug he performed 3 weeks after my TT)has no clue. ALL Dr's agree there is a problem, but no one can seem to diagnose me. Has anyone seen this occur after a tummy tuck and last this long? I cannot live in this state!

A: Looking 6 months pregnant after a tummy tuck.

Thank you for the photo. This is highly unusual any time after a tummy tuck, especially 16 months out from surgery. You state that you had a double hernia repair at the time as well. Were these groin hernias or mid abdominal hernias? Was any mesh used to reinforce the weak fascia? Either your tissues gave way, you had an unsuccesful hernia repair or your surgeon committed some technical error. Need to see a board certified plastic surgeon for a second opinion and a thorough evaluation (possible CT scan of the abdominal wall) to determine the cause. Good luck.
