help ... low cut bras for after surgery

Hello .... I am having my surgery for breast implants in 3 weeks.  I understand that for 6 weeks you have to wear a sports bra.  If have a night out planned within that 6 weeks can I wear a low cut, front closure, no-wire sports type bra?  So that way I can wear something cute to show my cleavage a bit?  Or do i need to focus on wearing high collared shirts for the first 6 weeks? Thanks :o)

A: Varying opinions based on your PS

You will find that there are many answers in regards to this question depending on your PS and his or her own opinion.  I personally prefer my patients to wear a bra with cups vs. a tight, compressive sports bra but ultimately I believe you should follow the instructions given by your PS.  Be honest and let them know exactly what you are concerned about and I'm sure your surgeon will be willing to work with you in coming up with a solution for your special occasion.

Which is a Good Implant Size for Me?

30 years old. 3 children and 5'6 140lbs. getting a breast lift with implant. Wondering if i should get 550cc or 600cc.

A: Unable to answer question

It is impossible to answer your question without knowing key information like, what is your current cup size, what is your ideal cup size, what are your breast measurements.  Please make sure your PS fully understands your expectations and what you are looking for as a final outcome.

Can I Drink Before my Breast Augmentation?

I am getting breast implants in two weeks and have a girls night out planned the weekend before. I'm not a big drinker, but is it ok if I have one or two cocktails a few nights before surgery? I've heard a few different opinions.

A: A couple of drinks should be fine

A handful of drinks a couple nights before surgery in a healthy person should be fine.  Just make sure to rehydrate yourself prior to surgery as alcohol can dehydrate you.  Good luck with your surgery.
