I've been wanting to have lipo done on my stomach for over a year now. I finally got the nerve to go through with it and I can't wait to see the final results. I had surgery on Jan 9th and a follow up appt today with Dr. Kerr. Even though I'm swollen and in pain I can tell that I am going to love the final results. more
So, I've always been thin. I'm 5'4" and had always been six three jeans or so.
As I got older. My body started to change. I started working out but could not get rid of my pooch. It just kept getting bigger. After a couple if years, I decided to get it sucked out.
I don't have any before photos at the moment. I was about 27" waist and 37" hips. I only had my abdominal a worked on.
I had on real self reading a the reviews, so finally got up the courage to go do it. I'm not going to lie I was in more pain then I expected by I was given some Vicodin in the middle of the procedure to calm me down. My doctor Lawrence Broder at Belezs Medical spa in Austin Tx and the nurse that assisted were excellent during my procedure. I in a little now but go in for a massage this. So... more
Everyday I come to this site to make sure I am making the right decision...
I am horizontally challenged and my hip circumference is making me look very heavy.. A few weeks ago I went to see a plastic surgeon to get a face lift. Thankfully, he pointed out I would get more bang for my buck to have lipo under my chin, back, stomach, hips, inner and outer thighs and knees. Has anyone had that... more
I had liposuction 4 weeks ago on my stomach, hips, upper and lower back. I had trouble sleeping because every way I tried to sleep was very painful. My doctor took out almost 5 liters of fat. Many people are comparing it to a really good workout. However, it felt like I was in labor for the first 2 weeks. Although i still have swelling, my results so far are nice but I am not sure if I would... more
My experience was not positive although i did not follow up with additional surgery to correct disfiguring and painful scars from the liposuction several years ago. the nerve pain has subsided, but the grooves in my hips, arms and buttocks remain. i would not post but i have heard from others recently about this Dr.'s work and i hope that someone reading this continues to research and look... more
I came to Dr. Haydon for help with an unusual physical anomaly, a large mass of tissue on my neck and back that was severely restricting mobility. The mass was also unsightly and was beginning to have a deeply negative impact on my self-image.
The spectacular outcome of my procedure is already apparent, just two weeks post-surgery. more
Well, so far so good. I was very relieved during the procedure at the amount of pain...very, very little. Actually, when I felt a little pinch 2x's the doctor said to nurse "no, let's give her more anesthetic...she should not feel any pain". Dr Broader from Beleza Med Spa did my procedure and I would HIGHLY recommend him and his staff. They are all great.
I did experience a pretty... more
I am a avid exerciser. After turning 50, and seeing that fat around my belly button, flanks and inner thights would not go away no matter how much I exercised, I decided to have lipo done in Feb. 2011.
First of all, it hurts ALOT more than they lead you to believe, but it is bearable after a few days. I can handle pain, but it felt like I had been run over by a truck and the... more
I had facial liposuction done by an Austin, Texas (downtown), Osteopathic Dermatologist....BIG MISTAKE....He talked me into it. I am in my late 50's and my skin does not have the good elasticity it once had. The doctor tried to correct it with a S-Lift, and that was more of a nightmare. The stitches around my ears are still not healed.
It has been a year and a half, since... more
