I Am Having a Tummy Tuck & BA & Lift and I Drive Haulpack is 3wks Enough Time off Work? (photo)

I am a 40 y/o/f having a Tummy Tuck and a BA and lift - I am hoping to go from a sagging C cup to a BOLD D or DD - I am unsure. Do you feel a TT will be benificial for me. I drive those big ole Haulpack trucks. I can book for 3 weeks time off is this enough. I dont plan on losing anymore weight just the apron Also, where can I buy the tummy compression bandages and special bras, as I will be on my own and really want to have these things prior to my travelling (I live way up north!) Thank you

Yes, I think you would enjoy the cosmetic benefits of a tummy tuck.  Please know that for my patients, I recommend no heavy lifting (no more than 10-15 pounds) for about six weeks.  You may need to take more than three weeks off.

I also recommend that you not do this on your own.  You will need somebody with you for the first 3-5 days to help you and make sure you are taken care of.

It is also best to have someone drive you to your first postoperative visit as you will likely not be off pain medication. If you are not off pain medication, then you are not cleared to drive.

Discuss this and other details with your plastic surgeon, and come up with a plan that is safe and will work for your schedule.

What Procedure Would Be Best After Pregnancy: Tummy Tuck or Liposculpture?

After 3 pregnancys i weight 135lb and I'm 5'5. I'm thinking of getting a tummy tuck, but peple tell me I would be a better candidate for a Liposculpture abdominal? I do have stretch mark in my abdominal area.

The answer to your question depends on how much extra skin you have.  Liposuction only removes the excess fat.  If you need removal of skin, fat, and muscle tightening, then a tummy tuck can give you more benefit.

Is There Much Volume Loss After Breast Augmentation by Fat Transfer Six Months After Surgery?

How much fat is needed to increase bust size one cup with fat transfer, and is there much volume loss 6 months to a year after the surgery?

Thank you for your question.  

If done well and you have an adequate breast skin, you can expect to get about a 150-200 cc increase in breast volume on each breast.  There is a limit to how much fat can be added and it is difficult to go more in one session.  This amounts to about a one cup size increase in many women.

The reason that more cannot be added is because the breast tissue starts to get tight and fat starts to die.

So, when done well, a modest increase in breast volume can be achieved and about 70-80% of the fat lives.  If pushed too far and too much fat is injected, fat starts to die and only about 30-50% of the fat will live.
