Everyone wanted my boobs. They loved my boobs. But let me tell ya, big boobs are a bitch. For someone who's had them since 4th grade, let's just say by age 30 they weren't looking like perky 30 year old breasts ???? Finding a bra was terrible and expensive. Finding clothes that looked good was exhausting. Bathing suits: foregetaboutit. I was constantly feeling the need to give my glad a "lift... more
I was experiencing neck and shoulder pain as I was about an F cup bra size. I also was having skin chaffing underneath my breasts with any type of exercise. After the surgery I am so happy and more comfortable with my size. No more neck pain or chaffing. Clothes fit me so much better and I am thrilled with my results. Dr. Zegzula did an amazing job! more
My reason for finally having breast reduction is after going through menopause my breast size increased from a 36 DD cup to a 36 G cup. This started causing medical issues for me and limited my very active lifestyle. I had shoulder and neck pain. Weight on my lungs effected my breathing. The grooves in my shoulders from the bra straps became deep and painful. more
I'm a 21 year old RN and have had chronic upper back pain for four years. This was the best decision I've ever made. Dr. Gabriel recommended the hooks and I'm glad he did. I am single with no children and it was important to me that my breast looked good. They are perfect. I can finally wear cute bikinis, buy pretty bras and feel comfortable in my body. I can wear low cut shirts without a bra... more
I'm 53 and have had back/neck pain and severe indents in my shoulders from bra straps holding up my large & dense breasts. I made the decision to have a breast reduction and seriously wish I had done it years earlier. The process from beginning to end was a pleasant experience, due to Dr. Gabriel and his staff's positive and professional attitude. He took time explaining the procedure and... more
Hello fellow big breasted women!
Just wanted to share my experience with all of you.
I didn't develop quite as fast as most of you here. I was flat (and made fun of for being flat) most of middle school, and suddenly within a year at 14 I was a C cup! So mentally it took me a while to get adjusted to my new figure, since I had always been a stick growing up.
After that of course I received... more
So a little about me, in April of 2014 I had a son. And even before he was born I was rocking an E cup. Post baby The last bra I bought was and G and my breast were not fitting well. While most 9 year olds were getting there first training bra (something Id worn since I was 7) I was wearing about an A cup. While most sixth grade girls were excited about there A cups I was already wearing a D.... more
Well I am one week pre-surgery and I am starting to get extra nervous / anxious / excited. Like I said about I am 22 years old (23 in March, I am hoping my girls are ready ;)) I weight about 150, 5'4, 36DDD/e, hoping to go down to a 36C and did I mention I am excited?
I have been having bad back pain for years!! I was a collegiate athlete and it was always painful but worth it to me. I loved... more
Dr. Gabriel is a fantastic plastic surgeon. He is professional, caring and personable. He was great in preparation for surgery as well as the after care, going the extra distance to ensure complete preparation and recovery. I completely trusted his work and am very pleased with the results, which actually exceeded my expectations. I'd be delighted to recommend Dr. Gabriel. more
I hope for this procedure is to help alleviate my back problems. I have also had really bad & really frequent migraines for the last 16 years. I'm tired of my breasts being what people remember about me. The last time I was properly measured I was a 38 GG, but that was a few years ago & I know I have went up at least a cup size if not more. I hope to be a C when this is all over & the... more
My history with large breasts go back many years. I started wearing a bra when I was 9 and by the time I was in high school I was a 36 DD. I was into sports and hiking. I bound them when I was playing softball because I was teased that I would give myself a bloody nose when I ran. I have had neck and shoulder issues since high school. I have 2 children, nursed them both. I thought I was a... more
I have read several reviews and now I'm writing one of my own. I'mm 33 years old and I've had big boobs since I hit puberty! I grew so much the summer between 6th and 7th grade that I was teased and accused of stuffing my bra. It was relentless for a year or so.... and even after that I would still get comments all the time. "Your boobs a so big but your hips are little!" at 15 I was asked why... more
I can’t say enough wonderful thing about Dr. Allen Gabriel. He is not only one of the very best in field, but he is also the most down to earth and compassionate doctor I’ve met. He is a perfectionist, making sure that you get the best results possible and takes that extra time to go the extra mile to ensure that you are ok both mentally and physically. I felt so comfortable and confident... more
One week to go and like many of you, I fluctuate between being very excited to SCARED to death! I'm 47 years old and currently a dd and hoping to be a large b/small c. I also have auxiliary breasts under my arm pits (so embarrassing!) that they will remove at the same time. I have my pre-op appointment tomorrow and I'm hoping I will walk away feeling more comfortable. I have poor lung function... more
This website has been so helpful for me in the months since I decided to finally have this surgery! I don't see many people on here that are my age and have boobs as big as mine, so I want to share my experience with girls who may have a similar body type to me! I'm 21, a 32H, weigh ~150 pounds, and am hoping to go down to a C (a D seems big to me, but I think my perception of what boobs look... more
I typed my “story” and then decided who wants to read a novel... you want a snapshot, so here it is...
Age 13 – Size 34DD, 6 Jeans; started getting headaches, hated running, embarrassed to wear swim suits, nicknames like double bubble… ugh!
Age 19 – Size 34F/G, 6 Jeans; migraines, neck/back/shoulder pain (tried yoga, personal trainer, supportive ugly bras, eye doctor for headaches,... more
I have always wanted a reduction once I had my first baby. Now at 32 years old, going thru divorce, 3 kids, and the amazing realization that my insurance will cover this procedure (previous insurance would not) I am very excited to get it done, heal, and move on with life. I hate being so inactive and having to wear 2 sports bras to do anything and always have neck and back pain. I need to get... more
Hello Real Selfers. Like many of you, I have been checking out this website for months now and it is because of your words of strength and encouragement, and shared laughter and tears, I am now opening up and sharing my story as well. It's not so different than the one many of you have told, I only wish I had told this story years earlier.
A bit about myself, I'm 5'5", 145 lbs and 50 years... more
Here I am 30 days from surgery. I had a consult scheduled with a PS when I was 18 but chickened out. Now here I am 36 years old, a married mom of three, a nurse, and student finally doing it. Getting approval from insurance only took a week. Have felt some nervous flutters but I remember the amount of Naproxen, Ibuprofen, heat packs, and visits to the chiropractor I've needed just to... more
I am now 2 weeks out from the procedure and I am happier everyday I did this. My only regret is that I waited so long to get it done. I have spent a ridiculous amount of time looking at my breasts these past 2 weeks. I was a 36J and I believe I am now going to be a 36 C or D. It was an emotional few weeks. Those breasts were a huge part of who I was for 30 years. I developed young and it only... more
