Will Local Anesthesia to Remove a Mole On My Chest Puncture my Breast Implant?
I have mole on the inner breast cleavage area and need to have it removed. Is there any chance they will puncture or pop my breast implant by using a small needle to numb to area? I am very worried and don't want to take any chances of them doing this , but also afraid of having skin cancer?
A: Chances are very lowThe chances of puncturing a breast implant while taking off a mole with local is very small. There typically is enough soft tissue covering the implant that a careful surgeon could easily stay away from the implant.. Do make whoever does the procedure aware that you do have implants so they will know they need to be careful.
You may want to check with the surgeon who put your implants in to see if they would remove your mole for you.

Is a Tummy Tuck The Right Treatment for My Stretch Marks? (photo)
Im interested to know what would be the best treatment for these stretch marks and If I would be able to have a tummy tuck to remove them. They are quite deep I feel laser would not help. I am 27 years old and do not intend on having any more children.
A: Excellent CandidateYou appear to be an excellent candidate for a tummy tuck as most of your stretch marks are below your belly button so they can be taken out with the skin and fat that would normally be resected in an abdominoplasty. The skin above your belly button looks to be good quality and will improve the look of your abdomen.
Good luck with your surgery,

Is Liposuction Beneficial for my Large Abdomen/waist?
I was athletic until my two past pregnancies and lack of exercise. I still look pregnant, but I can feel my muscle underneath. I'm able to suck my stomach in by a few inches but it's so difficult to shrink it. Shapewear helps to disguise it. I've had a c-section but I do not want a tummy tuck because of the scar. Is liposuction beneficial for my large abdomen/waist? Thank you
A: Liposuction can help, butLiposuction can help a full abdomen, but in someone with a lot of extra skin that has poor tone liposuction alone can sometime leave the skin even looser. It is a judgement call as to whether a patient will benefit from suctioning alone or will need some skin resection such as a tummy tuck. There defenitely is a scar with a tummy tuck but it usually is such that it is concealed beneath a bathing suit or underwear.
Good Luck,
