Can I get Latisse from my family doctor, or do I have to go to a doctor with a certain specialty?
Latisse can be obtained from any licensed physician. However, I recommend one obtain the medication from a physician with experience in cosmetic surgery. A board certified plastic surgeon can likely recommend additional procedures to further enhance one's overall appearance.
If I have light blue eyes, will Latisse turn my irises brown?
If used correctly, Latisse does not appear to change the appearance of one's eyes. When essentially the same medication is used in larger doses to treat glaucoma, a small number of patients can experience a darkening of their eye color. When used to treat glaucoma the medication is placed directly into the eye instead of on the upper eyelid with an applicator, thus a much higher level of exposure is seen.
If not, how long does the latisse results last?
The results obtained form the proper use of Latisse can be dramatic, but they are not permanent. Patients must continue to use the medication in order to maintain their appearance. After stopping the medication, patients can expect their appearance to return to normal over the period of weeks to months.
