I went to Dr. K, and he took fantastic care of me. He explained the procedures and answered all of my questions. He is very friendly, and a true master of his craft. He was able to schedule me for surgery that week. His bedside manner before, during, and after the surgeries was amazing.

I hate snobby people. I've been to several plastic surgeons over the years and almost all of them have Barbie doll staffs with their perfect noses high in the air. I don't know what that's all about, maybe they think that's what patients expect, but I certainly don't appreciate that. I'm not rich, I'm very comfortably upper middle class, but I'm also very humble and if you saw me you'd never guess my "worth" in dollars. It wasn't just Dr. Khalifeh's genuine friendly attitude that made me choose him, it was also his staff. They are real people, never one time made me feel looked down on, and seemed to really enjoy their job. So I did something sneaky...I came right out and asked a few of them what he was like as a boss. I promised that if he treated them badly or paid them badly or was a bad boss I would NEVER even hint to him that I knew it. But I won't ever go to a professional who treats his or her staff poorly (ask an orthodontist I once very vocally fired for chewing out an assistant within my hearing). Every one of his staff members I managed to corner told me the same thing: he's a perfectionist with his patients and he has high standards with his staff for the patients' sakes, but he is a very good man to work for. That means so much to me and was actually a huge part of why I chose Dr. Khalifeh over the others.

I gave 4 stars on waiting because dr. Khalifeh sometimes runs behind. But please know to expect that ony because he does not rush his patients and it feels good to have all of your concerns answered. So it doesn't bother me if he's running behind because I have been "the one" in his office with a zillion million questions.

I went to 4 different doctors for consultation. But it was my first plastic cirgury and didn't feel comfortable with none of them. But in Dr. Khalifeh office I could see the proffesionalism on their staff. He answered all my questions, he did not tried to over sell. During cirgury I didnt stop talking cuz I was nervous so him and Georgette were so nice that I knew I chose the best. I am ready to go for Tummy Tuck in few months and I will definitely do it with Dr. Khalifeh

Excellent results. Great Doctor and staff. I choose Dr. Khalifeh by researching on the internet starting with the Washingtonian list of Top Doctors and proceeded from there with additional searches. I closely compared the before and after photos of many plastic surgeons and read as many reviews as possible, then I picked out two top doctors, made appointments, and met them in person. I spent a lot of time looking over before and after photos. I really like Dr. Khalifeh and his staff. They are very easy to talk to, friendly and professional. I visited the office twice before I decided and while there had a chance to talk to patients in the waiting room who had had their surgery done and were back for checkups. They all had nothing but praised and they too commented that they made the decision after thoroughly researching Dr. Khalifeh's credentials and background. Dr. Khalifeh studied at Johns Hopkins Hospital. I have seen other Johns Hopkins doctors and have found them to be superb.

Dr. Khalefiah located in Chevy Chase MD is the BEST!!!!!! He is a true master of the art of smart lipo.Updated on 20 Jun 2012:My experience with this doc, and his office staff was a very good one. Everyone was extremely friendly and and helpful. At no time was I pressured to move forward with the surgery infact, I was encouraged to take my time before deciding because having any surgery is a big step. Dr.Khalifeh is soooo down to earth and funny, he was up front about what to expect and is an amazing scultor. I asked to have the shape of a coke bottle and thats exactly what he gave me, along with the self confidence that I had lost. I look great!!!!!! and although it may have costed me a pretty penny and a little pain it was worth every dollar and I can't thank him enough for my beautiful results.

Solid doctor, knows his stuff, delivered what he said he would. If you are getting liposuction done use him! Dr. Khalifeh is awesome and I highly recommend him. I think a lot of the horror stories I read here were done by "doctors" who didn't do a lot of liposuction. I wanted someone who does a TON of it and Dr. K fit the bill. He is knowledgeable and so far, pretty much everything he said has happened as he said it would.

I chose this Doctor based on reviews on this site. Also I went to another doctor for a consultation and he was not a confident on the type of resuls that I wouldl have Dr. Khalifeh told me that I would go from having a box shape to a curvy shape. I know that he specilizes in this type of surgery and does them in his office. This other doctor did not do them in his office but had to rent time/space at a location hospital.

The best on the East Coast :) Professionally, I pick investments for a living, so if I can pick good investments, I should be able to pick a good plastic surgeon for myself, huh? I have been researching on this website since early summer. On the east coast, there are good plastic surgeons on NYC, DC, Atlanta, and of course, Miami-- hot latino culture :) I have talked to several surgeons on Park Ave in NYC and think they are too overpriced for what they have achieved. You are mainly paying for a zip-code if you opt for those docs on the Upper East Side. I also considered Dr. Boutte in Atlanta. Her before and after pics look aggressively different, and her price is very reasonable. But she is very sales-driven and not a certified plastic surgeon. To conclude, Dr. Khalifeh is the best on the East Coast after my 6 months of research and I am happy with his pedigree, professionalism, price, and most importantly, the results he give to his patients. I also find his website incredibly transparent and informative, which gives me additional comfort. I believe plastic surgery is not the place to go for price cutting, so do yourself a favor and choose somebody you can trust. Dr. Khalifeh has accomplished it all. Wharton undergrads, and worked at Morgan Stanley before going to Johns Hopkins for med school. He demands the very best in everything he does, and I can totally see the highest degree of professionalism and skills in his practice. Do you know what else I couldn't believe?? They offered their corporate housing for me to stay for free because I am an out of town patient. I was able to stay in a beautiful, tastefully decorated apartment, one block from the office during my recovery time, and that is totally free of charge. (I had my procedure on Thursday and saw the doctor again on Saturday before I leave. The doctor said, you can stay longer if you want, the next patient wont come until next Wed, so it's all yours.) Gosh, no wonder they voted him as the most compassionate plastic surgeon. :) On the actual day of the procedure, I drove to DC by myself (which is a mistake, you should have somebody to take care of you. I somehow pulled it off, but I deeply regret it.) Procedure is scheduled at 3:00pm, minimal wait-time, very smooth process, professional, clean, and everybody is so sweet. I finally met Adrienne, who has been communicating with me on the phone before I came in. I like the fact that Dr. Khalifeh is very removed from marketing, and Adrienne is pretty much in charge of administratives & communicating with patients in the office.
