Can I Run my 1st Marathon 10 Mos After BA Surgery?

I had 350cc high profile implants put in Nov 2011. I'd like to run my 1st marathon in Oct 2011. I've already started running again, 4- 5 miles at a time with no pain. I want to make sure that training for and running a marathon will not cause any problems with my new breasts (i.e. sagging or changes in shape). I am 90 days post-op and my implants have not quite dropped to where they need to be.

A: marathon should be fine

at this point, i do not see a reason not to run the marathon.  wear a supportive bra especially since you're going to be training pretty heavily.  otherwise go for it!  it may take some time for the implants to drop and the swelling to go down.  be patient.

I Had BA 4 Months Ago with 400cc High Profile Silicone Smooth Implants, And They're Uneven and Cause Pain. Cause? (photo)

I Had Breast Augmentation 4 Months Ago with 400cc High Profile Silicone Smooth Implants and they look very uneven and the left breast looks much bigger than the right. This was my third augmentation in 13 years. This is the first time with silicone. I had saline implants previously and had a left deflation after 7 years. They all have been placed under the muscle. I am also having intermittent pain in the left breast as well. Can anyone tell me what happened that has caused this mishape? I don't know if they migrated out of the pocket or what.

A: hard to know exactly

were the implants more symmetric immediately after surgery?  or has the asymmetry persisted since surgery.  were the same size implants used?  for one, you have some nipple asymmetry which is just a part of you which has persisted after surgery.  It is possible that you have a capsular contracture which has elevated your right implant.  i suggest you return to your surgeon for consultation or see another board certified plastic surgeon if you are not happy going back.

Why Do Some Coolsculpting Patient Report Little Pain and Others Report Severe Pain?

Is there a reason why there are such different responsed to the level of pain with coolsculpting?

A: everyone is different

just as it is difficult to answer the question - how much time do i need for recovery? - everyone differs in their pain tolerance, cold tolerance, etc.  with this device, most people have mild discomfort but not true pain.  i had the procedure done myself and was out hiking the next day.  so it is definitely different for different people.
