I have been thinking about doing my lower ab pooch forever, becaise I have had it that long. Even at my thinnest 107 lbs I still had a pooch. Even aty fittest I have a 4 pack but never a 6. So abdominal etching would really make me happy as I work out like a beast. On the other token after turning 44 gravity is not my friend..I noticed a shift in my fat distribution that is unpleasant to me. I... more
I considered myself a very active person. I would workout several times a week, and I ate a semi-well balanced diet. On top of being active outside of my career, I had to stay active due to the nature of my job. As hard as I tried, I could not rid myself of those dreaded love handles. After several years of struggling with this, I reached out to Dr. Schuster. Everything from his peaceful... more
I was in a rut! I just spent a year and half building our dream home. Two weeks into the project our builder went MIA. I decided to take on the construction project myself. Along with a beautiful house of my dreams came a considerable weight gain. Now that the house is finished it was time to gain back my body and my life! Well easier said then done in your early 40's. I worked out every day,... more
I have recently decided to have surgery so that I can feel better about myself & look better in my clothes. I've been to 4 different doctors & they all told me that I should get a tummy tuck because I will get the best results. While I do agree with them I decided to get liposuction instead because I can't afford to take the time off work for the recovery process. I am a full time single... more
Bad idea. Instead of a lil buldge now I have extra skin that I really don't think will retract. I have a kind of bat wing now under my arm toward my back. He ran the lipo into the back area somewhat. More on one side than the other. Now I have two very different sides back there squishing out at my bra line on top. One is full and looks pretty normal, the other is a skin flap. I have already... more
Had liposuction of abdomen and flanks, yesterday. So far today just sore getting in and out of bed, or onto/off of a chair etc. Walking around has helped some. I am awful at taking pills so I was prescribed a liquid painkiller instead and only took it once yesterday. I have yet to take anything today. Planning on going back to work on Monday...so we'll see how that goes.
Stayed home from... more
I am going for outer thigh lipo with Dr. Markmann in 8 days (Feb 3, 2014). He said it would be a little over a liter total removed. So this isnt a *major* surgery, but I have never had any plastic surgery before so I don't totally know what to expect as far as recovery. I am basically expecting the worst so hopefully it wont be that bad! haha. I am nervous as anyone would be I'm sure, but also... more
I am so please so far.. Well worth the money. Still have some swelling but its been going down.. Looks like I'm going to be very happy with it. Still a little sore right now also. After procedure, woke up and was out the door in 45 minutes. He 's a good doctor. He also performed a mommy make over on my wife which changed her life for the absolute better. She looks so sexy. more
I am a 47 year old, white female who lives in Westminster, Maryland. I found Dr. Kane three years ago when I was looking for liposuction after I had a tummytuck three years earlier. After looking at many websites and interviewing four plastic surgeons in the Baltimore area. I fell in love with Dr. Kane and his staff. He did not miss one morsel of fat and now after losing 25 lbs it looks... more
For those looking into upper arm liposuction, I would recommend the procedure. Be aware that there are drawbacks (I’ve traded pudgy arms for a bit of loose skin) but I am still pleased with the decision nonetheless. The recovery isn’t that bad, especially if you have a week or two to take it easy (and someone to help you if possible). I’m glad I did it! more
So today i sent Dr. Yily a detailed email with my own pics and wish pictures. cant wait for a quote. i am planning on getting my back, arms, stomach and lower abdomen.i have thought about getting surgery for a very long time now.I am done with the long days of surfing the internet about doctors. i found the one! =] now i just have to wait for a response. I had liposuction of my lower abdomen and flanks. Results look good after 3 weeks, and all bruising has disappeared. There is still a fair amount of swelling, which I expect will continue to go down over the coming weeks.A few weeks ago, I had liposuction performed on my lower abdomen and flanks. I believe the compression garment was too tight. At my one week follow-up, my doctor told me... more
I had a very good experience with Dr. H and his assistant Michele. The procedure went very smoothly and my thighs look great.
Dr. H fixed what diet and exercise could not. He is a very caring and attentive plastic surgeon. I never felt rushed and he was careful to answer all of my questions. The liposuction recovery was fast. I went to work the next da more
No matter how much weight I lost I always had a belly and rolls on my back. The belly and back are genetic. Lipo was the best decision I've ever made and the best money I ever spent.
I have the body at 37 that I wanted at 17 and 27. I am so Happy. I do need a touch up on my back. I knew that from the time he told me how much he took out. I knew in my gut it wasn't enough.
My year... more
I am writing on behalf of my sister.
On Nov. 10, 2008 at noon time she went for her procedure under general anesthesia. She had flanks, inner/outer thighs, abs done. When she awoke from the anesthesia she was in the worse pain of her life (like being skinned alive). The staff and doctors wouldn't allow her to take any pain medication until a certain time slot ( she was... more
I had lipo of my inner and outer thighs, back, subbra roll, and back of my arms and a full tummy tuck at the same time. I did this mainly because my stomach was beginning to pouch over a previous scar from surgery. My plastic surgeon recommended certain procedures and I also requested specific areas for the lipo.
I did a lot of research on the web and other doctors’ sites. I knew the... more
After giving birth to four lovely children and watching my stomach yo-yo back and forth, no amount of exercise or weight loss could get rid of the little pouch I had developed in my lower abdomen. Once my husband and I made the decision not to have any more children, I talked him into liposuction (not the other way around)!
I was awake but had local anesthesia for the liposuction.... more
