Fractional CO2 Laser After Restylane and Sculptra?
Can you have Fractionated CO2 Laser after Restylane and Sculptra injections?
A: Fractional C02 laser and injectables are both possibleOne might assume that, because the injectables are placed much deeper than the laser, there should be no interaction. However we don't know this for sure.
I would suggest having the laser treatment first. Its superficial tightening might also guide the possible need for the injectable fillers.
How Long Can You Wait Between Sculptra Treatments?
Hi, just wondering how long is the maximum you can wait between Sculptra treatments.. i have had one treatment 11 weeks ago. I am also nervous to go back for another because of all the negative information out there.. and i am especially worried about my face blowing up and looking like a chipmunk!! But just really want to know how long i can leave it before the first treatment will seem like a waste?
A: Give sculptra time to begin to workMost physicians prefer to allow at least 4 to 6 weeks between treatments to allow the sculptra to begin to work.
There is no harm in waiting longer. It simply means you will take more time to get to your desired result.
Is the Chipmunk Look a Sculptra Side Affect?
Hi, I had Sculptra 11 weeks and so far everything is going really well. I am obviously due for my second treatment but I am concerned about Sculptra growing too much and being left with the chipmunk look? How common is this? and if it didn't happen the first time round is it something I should still be worried about? I guess I am wondering if it is more of a case of getting too much too quickly or some sort of unlucky reaction that some people have no matter what they do?
A: Sculptra or traditional fillers should all be able to get you great resultsThey are all tools in the hands of your physician. If he or she is well trained and has a great aesthetic eye you should obtain a wonderful result.
Sculptra is not more likely than other products to produce undesirable results, in the right hands.
Given that it is done gradually, and in steps, one could say it is not likely you would end up in a direction you don't want to go.
