I would like to get rid of my loose skin, the strech marks are below my navel, and i work out an hour a day, my upper abs are in great shape, i feel that my lower abs are tight too, underneath this lose skin. are there any other options? I am 5'6 and 112. my body is in great shape, and even with a 32 nearly A bra size i am satisfied with my body, I cant miss more than 3 days of work, but good lord my bodies never looked better and my kids are grown, ive been caring this skin for 20 of my 38 yrs

A: Am I a Good Candidate for a Mini-Tummy Tuck.

It would appear you have a moderate degree of fascial laxity. Your muscles may be toned but the wrapper they are contained in has stretched out - giving your abdomen a round contour. You don't appear to have enough skin to easily perform a standard abdominoplasty. A short scar with limited skin excision combined with wide undermining of the skin to allow tightening of the muscular fascia would give you a nice improvement but would not really improve stretch marks much. I like to keep the scar low and based upon what I'm seeing one would have to have the scar much higher to allow aggressive removal of skin with stretch marks. If you'r willing to accept a long scar an extended incision abdominoplasty may allow more skin to be removed. If you only have three days to recover none of these options will be practical. I Have A Wide, Flat Nose. Can It Be Changed? (photo)

I have been very unhappy with my nose for several years now and have wanted rhinoplasty for about a year and a half. I don't want just a thinner nose, I want it to be completely different. Thinner and instead of being flat I would like it to have a point to it. With that being said, because my nose is so wide and big, is it going to be harder and more dangerous for me to get rhinoplasty? Will the recovery process take longer?

A: Correction of wide, flat nose.

The only 'danger' you really face in having a surgery on your nose is in not choosing someone who has experience with nasal anatomy such as yours. Typically a nose like yours will require more surgical steps to enhance its appearance. Cartilage from the nose or ears, or perhaps an implant for the bridge of your nose will most likely be necessary to give you the look you want. That said, you should be able to find someone who can go very far towards creating more of the appearance you would like. Best of Luck  Dr Harrell

What Is a Good Implant Size For My Flat Chest? I'm a Figure Competitor.

Im 5"2 120lbs, 34A maybe B very saggy completely flat. If I wear a t-shirt no bra and stand to the side you can see nothing. My PS wants me to get 400cc unders and disect medial portion of the muscle. I am a figure competitior and I dont want to be too large and I'm worried about the cutting of my muscle. I only want to be a C. Any advice?

A: What is appropriate size for figure competitor?

There is typically a range of implant sizes that will expand your breast skin in a pleasing, aesthetic way. However those sizes might appear either too small or too large to you based on your personal preferences or what you think will look good within the competitive arena. Another major concern is just how much sagging skin you have. If you have a significant amount of sagging a breast lift would be essential to creating a natural appearing breast appearance. For most competitive body builders the smaller the breasts, the better. However your overall frame, chest width and the amount of breast skin that needs to have volume replaced. Reviewing photos with your surgeon and trying on implant sizers can help determine the optimal size for you. Best of Luck  Dr Harrell
