Chicao has a surgeon who can do blepharoplasty without cutting on women of color (Dr. Julius Few). He goes in thru the lower eye lid. Is there an east coast plastic surgeon who does the procedure this way?
This is called a transconjunctival lower lid blepharoplasty. Many surgeons do it this way routinely, including myself. A decision still needs to be made regarding the excess skin if there is any. You can try fractional resurfacing or just live with the external wrinkles. I assume you are concerned with keloids. The eyelid skin is least likely to form keloids. Most patients who think they have keloid scars actually have hypertrophic scars which would not be a problem in the eyelids.
I got punched in the face a lot when I had a drinking problem (sober now) but I'm afraid my eyeball is sinking. I know for sure I broke the orbital floor of my eye at least once (the second time I was in mexico two years and couldn't get a professional opinion). I'd like to know if my eye will keep sinking. Please see the photo and let me know if you think this problem can be fixed. Thank you.
Yes, your eye seems to be sinking in. The problem can be fixed with with a late repair of the orbital floor with a thin floor implant. Since you are not experiencing double vision, there is no problem with a late repair. Consult with an ophthalmic plastic surgeon but there is no big hurry. You should only hurry if the trauma happened last week.
I have rather large eyelids with almond eyes, a look I don't like. I would rather have more catlike eyes.
I understand your desire to have more cat-like eyes. You have a condition called antimongoloid slant where the outer corner of the eyelids is lower than the inner corner. A lateral canthoplasty can elevate the outer corners to give a more attractive upward slant.
