Life transforming surgery. I was so fortunate to have this gifted surgeon perform a deep plane face lift, lip and neck lift, upper lid blepheraplasty, and laser surgery on my face and neck in April 2024 when I was 78 years old. Dr. Azzizadeh reconstructed my nose to look perfectly natural and aesthetically pleasing. More specifically, the cartilage of my nose was caving in from a prior botched nose job. Dr. Azzizadeh reused fat and cartilage from elsewhere in my body to build a new nose on my face. One might expect modest results at best in this situation, but thanks to doctor's exceptional skills I miraculously have a cute smooth proportional nose after this reconstructive surgery.

Dr Azizzadeh changed my life with my rhinoplasty. His work is exactly what I was looking for and through this process he made me feel like the most important patient, answered all of my questions, and made me feel as if there nowhere more important he had to be. For as long as I can remember, I have felt self-conscious about my nose. Unfortunately for me, the area I grew up in was blessed with an impeccable gene pool, and in my eyes I was placed there by mistake. Throughout high school, I continuously made comments about getting a nose job. My parents never agreed, or even responded to my comments for that matter, but as my days left in high school began to dwindle, I started getting nervous thinking about leaving the people who were used to my nose and going to college where I would meet new people and have to worry about their judgments. Starting my senior year, I began actually researching rhinoplasties. I wanted to find the best surgeon possible. All the time I spent researching online directed to me to one clear answer: Dr. Azzizadeh. In the days leading up to surgery, my parents asked me several times if I was nervous. Every time, I confidently answered no, genuinely wondering what I would have to be nervous about. Dr. Azzizadeh’s sincere, caring, and compassionate personality constantly reassured me that I couldn’t be in better hands, and on the morning of my surgery I sprang out of bed at 6 A.M., feeling excited, overjoyed, and most importantly at ease. My surgery went great! The days following surgery were no different than the ones leading up to it. Dr. Azzizadeh continued to show incredible patient care as him and his staff frequently checked in on me, texting and calling my parents to make sure I was doing well. My pain and discomfort was minimal, and I never once regretted the decision I made to have a rhinoplasty. I cannot thank Dr. Azzizadeh enough for what he did because his work dramatically changed my life, transforming it from one filled with anxiety and stress to one that I am excited and grateful I get to live.

I'm 42 and my skin looks great (according to others). I've been told I could pass for early 30's (I take care of my skin! Retin-A, Vitamin C, Glycolic, sunscreen). That being said I have started noticing the natural "sag" in my face (and starting to get the round jowly look that runs in my family). Decided to try Ultherapy today (and was scared after reading reviews on here). 2 hours post- and I'm thrilled. I took 1/2 a vicodin, 700mg of Advil, and 1/2 a xanax (really just to help my nerves!!). The pain was really nothing to be worried about! It's like... getting a shot or something. Some parts hurt a bit more- but nothing more than making me say "ouch'. The procedure moves along- so you don't get pain in one area for long. Honestly- I enjoyed the conversation during the procedure (with Nurse Jodi) enough to say it was actually more "enjoyable" than painful! Immediately after- no redness, barely any swelling. I look tighter- puffed up in a good way (minor)- almost a youthful puff. It's EXPENSIVE- and I don't know the long term results yet.... but I am SO SO SO glad I tried it. I really believe it will do some good. You can tell that the machine is working deep down- the little zaps ensure that you're getting the minor muscle damage you need to regrow collagen. FINGERS CROSSED for long term results. Take a little pain med, take something to relax- and DO IT. Just make sure you go to somewhere really skilled (I did). I did my whole face/neck (with the exception of the forehead- I just don't need that part done). Updated on 9 Nov 2013: Today is day 3. Really haven't had much swelling (very minor- and mostly a "good looking swell"). Still think I look better- slightly tighter jawline. My skin looks great. No numbness, tingling, or pain. Slight tightness in my neck/stiffness in my jaw- but almost unnoticeable. Still very very happy. Time will tell!

I decided to post a review about my experience with restylane and Botox. I have spent many hours on this site and found it to be very helpful (and frightening) at the same time. I have terrible dark under eye circles and hollowness. Fortunately I live in S California so I was able to have access to excellent plastic surgeons. I found one that has amazing credentials and is actually a trainer for injectables and has written books on injectable techniques. That being said i decided to have my tear troughs and checks filled with Restylane and a little Botox for the crows feet. I also asked about my lips but he thought they look good as is and steered me away from that. I am so thrilled with the results. I can't get over how much better I look (the same only younger). The pain was very minimal and I have zero bruising or swelling. I did take Arnica pills and pineapple juice for 5 days prior. Hope this helps and good luck to everyone on their own personal quest ;)

Found Dr Azzizadeh more or less through real self. After consult I was sure that he is the expert who will fix my nose especially since he seemed to understand what I was trying to achieve. It is now almost two years since the surgery and I have to say that I don't like the way the tip of the nose looks as well as also the uneven nostrils and profile. I am very very disappointed. with the result I received I honestly would not call him an expert. Sad that most probably I need to search for a Rhinoplasty surgeon again and again spend thousands of dollars with the hope to this time have better luck and results. I can return a shirt from a store if it doesn't match my outfit I think patients with anything less then a satisfactory result should be entitled for a refund! Updated on 20 Aug 2015: Attached are pictures of the nose tip. It is plain ugly and reminds me of Ms Piggy from Sesame Street. Thank God I still have some humor left ! But actually it is rather depressing. My Doctor prescribed Wellbutrin because I am so selfconcious about my appearance that I do not want to go out. Not to grocery store, mall nor dinner with my husband. I feel everyone is staring at my nose. I ended up with Depression. Updated on 29 Aug 2016: Three years after surgery. Definitely NOT worth it. Left me depressed and unhappy. Updated on 10 Feb 2018: The selling is completely gone the nose looks hideous deviated septum to one side uneven nostrils tip collapse to the left more visible and over projected the nose bridge too far from the face as well as the tip, nostrils swing open like batwings when I smile...and so on...long story short I am looking for a REAL SKILLED ARTIST in revision rhinoplasty. Realself is not helpful in finding one as just about anyone can call him or herself and expert. Dr. Azzizadeh is not capable of complex revision surgeries. If you are in need of a revision any kind of revision chose another surgeon. There are several people on realself who were operates by Dr. Azzizadeh and are dealing with similar issues. Again as a person the Doctor is really nice however he does not possess the skills for a difficult revision Rhinoplasty. I have been left with breathing issues and depression minus 20K. If anyone knows of a REAL expert in revision rhinoplasty please email me direct.

I had a deviated septum and a tip that had been broken in my teens. I finally decided to get a nose job to fix it and I've been left WISHING I'd done more research. He over promised, underdelivered, didn't listen to what I wanted and I truly believe that while he seems quite nice, that he is NOT skilled at noses. I was left with a LARGER nose with a bulbous tip that was bent, uneven nostrils and went from being cute to ugly with the cut of his scalpel.
