A: Is It Safe to Have Full Tummy T. Combo w/ Lipo of Full Back W/in a Wk of Each Other?Answr:

I usually would perform these two procedures at the same time. However, if you and your surgeon prefer to break them up, it is perfectly safe to do so. I personally, would do the back liposuction first, followed by the TT. That way I am not placing you face down on the OR table on a fresh TT incision, muscle tightening and possible drain!!!

Is Needing Touch-up of Liposuction a Likely Thing?

I am scheduled for flank & thigh lipo in a few weeks. I was reading another Q&A on here and an answer from a doctor read, "it's not very often a patient needs a touch-up surgery for lipo unless under gen. anesthesia, then they usually need at least 1 or more touch-ups". I was never informed of this. I know there is always a chance for problems etc, but the use of the word "usually" sounds like I should fully expect another surgery and will spend more money... thoughts??

A: Is Needing Touch-up of Liposuction a Likely Thing?

I think Liposuction is the most imprecise thing we do in Cosmetic Surgery...I tell my patients it's like vacuuming under the couch. You can't really see in there but you can tell what comes up the hose!!!! So revision are a distinct possibility but I would not say "usually"...I would guess no more than 10% of that time but that is a guess...and it depends on age and areas...Age >40, inner thighs and abdomen tend to give more unevenness after surgery, it seems...

Best Non Invasive Liposuction for a Morbidly Obese Male?

Hi, I am 285lbs, 5' 10", male, 25 years old. I've exercised and tried diets, nothing seems to work. I was looking at various non invasive liposuction options, as I have to work round the clock on weekdays, and resting at home is not an option, and prefer non surgical or non invasive methods. What is the best and proven non invasive liposuction option available for me ? I have fat male breasts and 52" waistline, pot belly. Losing even 5" would be great. Advance thanks and regards,

A: Best Non Invasive Liposuction for a Morbidly Obese Male?

There isn't one. There really are no "great" non-invasive forms of Liposuction...Only very, very mild to modest ones from what I have seen at the national meetings we go to. And especially in situations of large amounts...Now in some "challenging" areas like the inner thigh, back of the arms and tummy, I have seen an advantage to the SlimLipo Laser Assisted Liposuction, but again, that is not non-invasive...
