I spent over a decade disliking my nose and feeling very insecure everyday. I finally decided to go through with a rhinoplasty and did lots of research to find a board certified surgeon. I came across Dr.Shapiro and knew he was the one I trusted. The consultation went smoothly and Dr.Shapiro confirmed he could give me what I wanted with the inspo photos. The day of surgery was fantastic, the anesthesiologist and nurses were all so kind and caring. I wanted to add extra kudos to Lori my nurse. She was the nicest nurse I’ve ever met and treated me like family. The entire office staff are incredible and very helpful, especially Alexis. The whole process went smoothly during recovery with very minimal bruising and not taking arnica. I’m only 11 days post op today and my final result isn’t going to be revealed until the 1 year mark but overall I’m beyond happy and grateful! I highly highly recommend Dr.Shapiro’s office to those considering a rhinoplasty. He provides a more natural approach that matches your face.

I initially went to see him for a different procedure on my neck however he recommended a neck lift to give me the results I was looking for. had this done in 2020 (it wont let me put a date before 2021 on realself) best choice of my life! i asked for a "perfect" lifted button nose that would still fit my profile. he used cartilage from the side of my head for the depression in my nose right between my eyes. minimal scars on my nose and none on my head. one of my permanent threads came out about a year or 2 ago (~2021 or 2022) which scared me, but i was assured everything will be fine since the nose fully healed by then, and this seems to be holding up. haven't had any complications with my nose and everybody assumes its natural! only thing i wanna note is if you ask for a more upturned nose, you may want an additional lip lift to go along with it because your philtrum may look more enlongated from the lift of the nose.
