I had an endoscopic brow & cheek lift in Nov 23. Post-surgery the swelling appeared uniform. In Feb 24 it became more apparent under the eye area creating swollen festoons. Im 6 months post and it's very swollen. My doctor says it'll go by itself in a years time, and he cannot remove it w/ a needle because the liquid is mixed inside my face. I tried Indiba and massages but no improvement. Is this a normal side effect? Should I be worried? What I can to make it go away? Thank you.
I had a facelift six months ago. The scars on one side of my face healed in this lumpy way. It feels like hard ridges to the touch. Can this be corrected? I have been religiously massaging with scar cream and its not improving. Absolutely hates this and want to correct as soon as possible. What are options and cost ?
Hello, I had a full deep plane face/necklift in May, with seroma, infection, necrosis and am left with some pretty bad scarring. Not only along incisions but lumps of scar in my neck and face. My Dr. says to accept an move on. I still have a lot of pain an a feeling like inflammation and spasm like pain. I saw another PS, who quoted me 18000 to fix. Is there any way to help pain and healing non surgically? My face also gets puffy and swollen off and on and can feel hard ridges.
I had 3500 grafts 5.5 months ago. While I appreciate the full results are not yet to be seen I am concerned about the density of my hairline compared to the rest of the front of my head. It seems very heavy. I include some photos from today plus some post surgery. What can I do?
Around 6 months ago I had a lift with incisions within my harline (not sure if this is called Ponytail or subperiosteal). This procedure lifted my cheeks, temples and brow. I Specifically asked my surgeon not to give me a fox eye look and now my eyes are upturned. In particular, my right eye is extremely upturned and a lot more so than the left. My eyes also look smaller than before. Will this improve over time? If it doesn't improve what are my options? I've included a current and old photo.
I had surgery 6 months ago, lower face and neck. Looked amazing straight afterwards but my jawline isnt as sharp anymore, it looks like my jowls are still there and I have a swelling underneath my chin still from lipo. I am due to see my surgeon in the next month but he did seem to think its still swelling. Had a problem with the wound behind my ear that wouldnt heal for the first 3 months so wondering if that could be contributing to slow healing
Hi! I am 44, don't smoke, exercise regularly. I picked the surgeon I thought was the best even though she was 2x more expensive than anywhere else. I had full face, neck, chemical peel. First 2 months I am very happy with my results. About month 3 a lot of what I wanted fixed started to come back. I discussed concerns with the Dr but she says my face is much better than it was and I should be happy. Should I be? What do you think about my results at 6 months? What can I do?
Hello, I am 6 months post facelift/neck lift procedure, but my cheeks and neck still swell up and burn, as well as the laser procedure under the eyes. I healed well, and had no issues, but the burning and the swelling never went away. My original surgeon is not able to help, I tried many different steroids, anti-inflammatory drugs, medical laser, ared light therapy. Nothing seems to work and it does not feel like its getting better. I am on Lyrica for the pain 150m x 3 a day. I am losing hope :(
I had a face lift 6 months ago . I specifically wanted my cheeks tightened but nothing on my upper face to change . I noticed my eyes were stretched and waited to see if it was swelling and it is still stretched . Is there a way to fix this ? Is there a surgery ? My eyes were bigger before and now they are tighter which is what I didn't want
I had a facelift around 6 months ago, cus I got a bit of sagging on my face from doing zygoma reduction surgery 6 months before that. After the facelift, I have hard ridges on BOTH sides of my cheek. Any thoughts on what could've went wrong? Maybe my soft tissue was still firm from the zygoma reduction, and when it got pulled from the lift, it created sum sort of tissue bunching? I can tell it's not going to go away on it's own. It just feels to firm.
