Typical groove above the orbital rim and orbital muscle roll, visible even without smiling - fillers and liquid fat seem to not work for this unlike usual tear troughs (I don't see results in medical literature). However, I've seen convincing results in Raul Loeb's 1989 book and on the late Dr. Meronk's website - both used pearl fat grafts behind the septum. What have prevented this procedure from becoming widespread and is there any hope to solve this in the near future?
Im 2019 I had upper blepharoplasty. Tapered folds were created even though my natural fold was parallel crease. In 2022, I had a revision with the same surgeon. He said he could not correct my original scare but will creat a new parallel crease and hide the old scar. I do like the height of the new folds and they are no longer tapered. However excess skin was formed between the folds. I also look like I have medial canthus webbing. Should I reverse the non-incisional double eyelid? What to do?
Hi. I was so happy about my eyes before. They were mildly hooded. They were elongated. My best feature. However I started being swollen quite often and lifted my eyebrows to make them look even better. I did the operation because the surgeon said my eyes would look the same but rested. I look like a stranger. I have wide sad eyes with too much lid space in the inner corner. My eyes appear round, and one of my eyes now shows mild ptosis. What can be done to reverse it? I want less lid!!
2 years ago I had ptosis surgery done on both eyelids. I had a prior surgeon inform me that my eyelids were symmetrical yet my left eyelid felt droopy at times. Now I notice my eyelids are flatter and eyes feel smaller than before which is an insecurity of mine. My eyes are also dry each morning even after using warm compress and eye drops/gel. So Im not sure if its due to overcorrection or not because I can still close my eyelids.
My eye surgeon performed eye ptosis surgery. After research, i believe i needed brow ptosis surgery instead of eye ptosis surgery. A few eye doctors informed me i need brow ptosis surgery now. Is blepharoplasty reversable? I cant even look in the mirror and im 24 years old. First picture is before surgery. Second picture is before surgery with tight pony tail to lift my eyebrows. Third picture is after surgery. Did I only need eyebrow ptosis fixed??
I had an upper and lower blepharoplasty last winter. At first I was mesmerizehow open and fresh my eyes looked, but with time I have started to have regrets. I certainly needed my eyelids adjusted, but I feel that a more conservative approach would have been better. I feel my eyes look hollow and my whole appearance has changed. I never had much upper eyelid show so the change is too big now. Did my surgeon remove too much? Will the eyelids drop with time? Can this be reversed?
10 years ago, I had lower blepheroplasty and the fat pads removed under my eyes. Now there are fluid sacs under both eyes. I just turned 50. Can this fluid be drained or will it just come back? What causes it and what are my options to get rid of the tired looking sacs?
In the last few months my eyes have drastically changed to the point where I can't even comfortably look someone in the eye without worrying how bad my eyes look to them. I am only 20 years old and I consider myself on the healthy side. I eat right, I don't drink alcohol, not a cigarette smoker, and I don't wear make up. I want to decrease or finish this problem naturally and inexpensively. Please help, I'm too young for fillers, injections, and surgeries.
