I had Asian eyelid surgery and it's been 13 months post op. There are a lot of suture holes on my eyelids - I'm unable to wear makeup because it gets into these holes which defeats the purpose of my eyelid surgery. The doctor said he used dissolvable internal sutures which should take a few months to dissolve and help fixate my crease. For 3-9 months, I asked when these holes will close up. He kept saying they will close but it's been over a year. Why are these holes here?
Female, 34, Latina, one year post op- lower Bleph with fat transfer but my right eye still has some swelling. Especially when I smile, that side did need more fat according to my doctor to balance out my face & I noticed right after the surgery that eye had significantly more swelling. I thought it would even out but I still have a little swelling & a little pouch forms. Can this be fixed?
After a lateral brow lift and upper eyelid lift surgeries a year ago, I'm dissatisfied. Initially, I sought an endoscopic brow lift, but my doctor recommended a lateral brow lift instead. However, this resulted in an overly arched eyebrow and increased droopiness at the front, giving me an angry appearance. Additionally, the upper eyelid lift caused sagging skin and closure on my right eye's inner corner, which wasn't an issue before. The surgeries also altered my almond eye
Hi there, I had an upper blepharoplasty 14 months ago and was swollen for a LONG time. It actually took months for the swelling to go down. One of my eyelids still looks a bit swollen - is this normal? Permanent? Also wondering if maybe too much skin was taken out. I like the result, just wonder if it is the final look. Thank you.
I am a 49 year old woman who had upper eyelid surgery a year ago to remove excess skin due to aging. My eyes look better than before the procedure but I still feel that there is excess skin that makes my eyes look heavy. I mentioned this to the plastic surgeon who performed the procedure and he dismissed my concern saying that my eyes were fine. I then consulted with an oculoplastic surgeon who said not enough skin was removed. What do you think? And why do the two surgeons opinions differ?
I feel like my eyes are MORE hooded now. And the shape seems weird. Is the crease too high? The surgery was one year ago so it is not swelling. I feel like I early my eyes looked better before- I wanted them not to disappear when I smiled but even post Bleph they still do. First two pics are from last year before the surgery, the others are from this past week. Also feel facelift altered shape of my face. They didn't do the necklift.
I had blepharoplasty done on my upper eyelids exactly one year ago. The scar has faded only it has left me with permanent redness. Ive tried doing laser treatments but its not working. Ive been very insecure of the way my eyelids look ever since i got them done, its still really noticeable even when i try to cover it up with makeup. Is there any other treatments that could work? Would a revision surgery help? If done by a professional this time.
It's been over a year since I had an upper bleph. And I am so discouraged. I consulted with a scar massage expert and am now working to undo the damage I created from that. This explains why my scars are visible. However my question is this...What was there before the scar massage is a gap on one of my inner corners. It is not there on the other eye. Anything I can do to fix this?
