I had my ears pinned back 6 months ago and I'm not totally satisfied with the results. I really liked my right ear results, but the left ear looks weird to me. I'm not sure if I'm being reasonable about it. But, if my concern makes sense, a description of what is wrong would be really helpful. Thank you in advance.
Is it ever possible to do wrestling or boxing if you have done otoplasty? I know that after a year or so the ears will completely heal when that happens is it possible to wrestle or box. Or after 5 years for example is possible to wrestle or box.
Did otoplasty 1,5 years ago and have almost regret it because my ears got a bit uneven. Is it ever possible to fix them to look some better. They are not the same shape but do you think it still is possible? It is the right ear I dont like
Extra skin giving the appearance of an extra fold in conceal bowl of ear after otoplasty. Concerned that this will not heal properly and seeking any feedback/guidance before meeting with my surgeon for post-op evaluation
Hello, I had my ears pinned back in early January this year. So far I am very happy with my results but I have a little mass of something which might either be skin or cartilage within each of my ears. Not that this is real discomfort but I was wondering if this would ultimately go away over time so I could wear by headphones again.
Had ear surgery for almost 2 years ago and still think my ears look asymmetrical and weird. One of the ears also have a pointy antihelical fold which a think look extremely ugly and unnatural. Should it look and feel like this or can ut be reversible. I just think that I made a terrible mistake and would never done this if I knew the outcome :( And yes I may have BDD so this surgery did not help to be honest.
Ive had my ears pierced since I was two years old and now as an adult, hate the placement of the piercing. I only have one hole in each ear but one office quoted me $1400+ because they still follow the same procedure if my ear was stretched - which it isnt. What is the average cost of this based on the MVA region?
My daughter got an otoplasty years ago & the doctor only stitched them back & didn't cut any cartilage so after a few months the stitches got undone, & her ears protruded once again. I'm looking for a doctor in Houston or surrounding areas to give me a quote on pinning back the ears for my 9 year old daughter. Hoping to find someone that has a $2000 budget or under. That's why I'm writing this post instead of contacting doctors one by one who I might not even qualify for with the budget I have.
I saw a photo on here that reminded me of my own ears. I looked up some pictures and I realized the extra cartilage might be why my ears don't curl at the top. I have always been self-conscious about my elf ears. Is the surgery to correct it very risky or invasive? Once my ears heal entirely, would I be able to get piercings in that area?
