I received 40 units in the middle area of my forehead in November, everything was fine but then I went for check up a month later and my doctor convinced me to get extra 10 units above my brows, since I still had some movement in that area. After that I slowly started feeling changes in my brows, tingling and numbness around my eyes and temple area. My brows went completely straight no arch also my forehead got completely flat and stretched like 2 cm. Could it be permanent?
I have had frown lines treated with 40 units and had good and long-lasting results. Even 8 months later, it had not fully worn off. I went to another doctor and asked him to treat my frown lines, but it appears he injected my whole forehead. I can still frown, but can't lift my brows at all. I was told he used 75 units. It's really awful and now I'm afraid the higher dose means it will take even longer to wear off. When can I expect to at least start getting movement back?
Ive had 90 units of dysport placed in between my eyebrows for my 11s and there is still movement and I can see some faint lines. Ive had 3 micro needling sessions done and thinking of going back for one more but Im feeling so defeated. Idk what else to tdy
I've been reading some mixed information online, and it looks like Dysport is only FDA approved for the glabella and behind the neck. Is it true that if Dysport is used around the eyes or forehead it's considered off label use? I've always had bad side effects and doopyiness from Dysport. I never experienced this with allergan Botox. I also heard Dysport moves around more and is more likely to migrate.
I am looking to get Dysport in my glabella area and would like conservative treatment to retain facial expressiveness for my upcoming wedding. If I get treatment in the glabella area giving this conservative guidance to the injector, what should I expect? Will this muscle be completely frozen and unable to move (assuming I would still be able to move untreated areas of my face like my lateral corrugations and frontalis)? Or would a typical goal in this situation be to just soften muscle movement
Dr charges per area for dysport. I didnt ask at the time how much he gave me. If I go to His nurse its per unit. Im trying to decide whether to go to the nurse based on cost. Called office to ask how many units and they said they dont give out that information. I asked why and reception said its in his head not in a chart front office can access. I asked if he charted it somewhere and she said yes only Dr and nurse can see it and when she asked Dr, he said they dont give that info out
Does dysport definitely work faster in all patients? I was injected 6 days ago above the lip along with my friend. My friend is experiencing strange side effects (numbness heavy jaw etc) I can hardly feel any effects but can see a subtle change. Im just wondering will I have reached full effect?
I had my first dysport injenctions 2 weeks ago in my forehead and frown lines and Im due for my top up today. The edges of my eyebrows still have movement and I was told this will be fixed today after my top up, but Im worried that my eyelids seem slightly hooded, theres no pain and theyre not uncomfortable, It may even be a touch of hayfever as they do look quite swollen but Im worried that my top up will make it worse. Is this common and can the top up make it better?
I had dysport today and wasnt aware it shouldnt be done if breastfeeding. I havent fed baby with breast since treatment 1 hours ago (just formula). When can I feed again as I do not want to stop breastfeeding if possible? My babies health is most important and only had forehead, frown and 20 units in each crows feet area. Please help!
