Kian Karimi, MD, FACS

This review is long overdue. I went to see Dr. Kian a few months ago, and I had a wonderful experience. From the beginning, he took the time to patiently explain everything to me, answer all of my questions and make sure that I was comfortable every step of the way. He told me what to expect, and how the how long to wait to make sure everything was settled in. I loved my results. It all looked very natural and nobody could tell that I had gotten work done. I just looked refreshed and youthful. I look forward to going back to him for future services.

I was recommended Dr. Kian Karimi by my dermatologist. At first I was very nervous to go through with the procedure (septoplasty and a rhino to fix a very deviated septum,) but he made me feel extremely comfortable during the consultations, before surgery and post-recovery. He is an expert doctor with results that triumphed all my expectations. My nose is fully functional and breathing, something that I had never experienced before my teens, and it looks gorgeous and straight. He is kind and has great bed side manner, and compared to my experience with most other doctors, he is extremely warm and caring. I could not recommend him more. It goes without saying but his expertise, experience and credentials, delivered results that were unimaginable to me. He is a life changer. It sometimes takes a lot out of me to blindly trust the process, but I am already almost 5 months post-op and so happy that I took the chance. Like I said, I could not recommend him more.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Karimi and his nurses/staff. I did a lot of research to find the right doctor for me. I have been wanting to have my nose done for a very long time, but wanted to make sure it looked completely natural. I had been following Dr. Karimi on his instagram and what I loved most about him was how his work was so natural and didn’t look overdone. My consultation went great and he is such a nice person and easy to talk to. Surgery went smoothly, no pain whatsoever. Would recommend Dr. Karimi to anyone who wants a beautiful, natural look!

I am beyond thrilled with the results of my rhinoplasty performed by Dr. Karimi. From start to finish, the entire experience was exceptional. In my consultation, he knew exactly what to change to give me the nose I envisioned, and it's better than I could have expected. The recovery was better and easier than I imagined it would be, and I have received nothing but compliments on how my nose looks. Dr. Karimi and his team took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure and post-op care, and answered all questions I had ahead of the surgery. I cannot recommend Dr. Karimi enough.

After my years of contemplation about having a lower neck/face lift I finally made the decision to do it this past August. I have been getting injectables and other treatments from Dr. Karimi for over 10 years. What I love about Dr. Karimi, besides the fact that he is just fun to work with, is his honesty. Over the years he has told me "no" when I wanted something he felt was unnecessary and never pushed anything at me. He had been telling me for a while that my aging face had reached it limits as far as filler and the only real solution was a deep plane neck & face lift (plus full face fat transfer, upper & lower blepharoplasty, and a BBL Halo laser treatment). He was right. I was nervous about being under a general anesthetic for as long as I was (8 hours!) but I came out of that just fine. The first 4-6 days were a bit of a journey, but no pain. Just discomfort, swelling, etc., etc. His nurse, Michelle was & is amazing and answered all of my neurotic questions quickly. Overall it was a terrific experience, and now that I am coming up on 8 weeks and back to all of my normal activities, I am only left with some numbness, some quickly fading scars that aren't even visible, and lots of compliments! from those who know I had the procedure. Those didn't know have said nothing except your skin looks great. Highly recommend Dr. Karimi.

I am so thankful for Dr. Kian Karimi and his entire staff, my experience from the first phone call to his office to the postoperative follow-up has been fantastic. My initial rhinoplasty was done 20 years ago and the result was very disappointing; my deviated nasal septum was not corrected, the tip of my nose was not symmetric, and my nasal bridge still had an arch. I had just gotten my Internal Medicine residency and frankly did not have the time nor the inclination to go back to the surgeon who had done such a terrible job. I had spent the last few years trying to find someone I could trust. During my research Dr. Karimis' name came up a few times, in reviews, articles, all with glowing endorsements. I not only wanted my nose to fit my face, I'm Indian and didn't want to lose my ethnicity. I also needed my deviated nasal septum corrected, Dr. Karimi not only delivered on everything, the results have been even better than I imagined. As a physician I know all the things that can go wrong with a complex revision rhinoplasty, but Dr. Karimi, my wonderful nurse, and the entire surgical staff gave me step by step, daily instructions with very close follow-up to avoid any complications. I highly recommend Dr. Karimi, he is thoughtful, experienced, and is knowledgeable about the latest surgical procedures, but more importantly, he listened to what I wanted, and worked with me as a partner throughout.

Dr. Karimi is one of the most outstanding plastic surgeons in LA. Yesterday was my 1 year post op for my nose job and I couldn't be happier with the results. I came to Dr. Karimi to get a tip plasty done- my main focus was to make my nostrils smaller, and tip pointy. Karimi presented to me two different surgery options that he can perform on me and ultimately gave me his opinion on which would look better on me. I trusted him and went with the recommended surgery and my nose came out perfect. I emphasized how I wanted my nose to fit my face and didn't want an 'obvious nose job' and he delivered the perfect results. He was very thorough with the surgery, has incredible bed side manner, and amazing staff. The process from consult to day of surgery went very smooth, I was in contact with my nurse, Michelle, who did an amazing job of keeping in touch with me prior to surgery, to getting ahold of me once I got home to see how I was feeling and if I needed anything. I truly urge anyone who aims to get anything natural done, to go see Karimi. What motivated me to go with Karimi was his social media presence and how open he was with showing off his work. I noticed how natural his surgery out comes were which was something I really wanted myself and was able to get. Nonetheless, I couldn't recommend Karimi enough, such an amazing doctor, cool staff, and truly delivers the best results.

I have been wanting to get a rhinoplasty for probably majority of my life, and finally decided to get one. Dr. Karimi was the only surgeon that I had a consultation with, and I immediately knew that he was the right fit for me. I knew I didn't have to look elsewhere. Without telling him what bothered me about my nose, he literally hit all the points that I was insecure about which I loved. Dr. Karimi's style is super natural and his goal is to enhance your features and work with what you have, instead of pasting the same nose on every patient. Dr. Karimi performed an Ultrasonic Rhinoplasty on me, and I now have "the cutest nose in LA" as he says. The pre and post op care instructions were super thorough and easy to follow, and I barely had any bruising. The recovery was seamless. I would do it a million times over. Dr. Karimi is seriously the best, don't look any further you will definitely be in the best hands!

I love Dr. Karimi. I signed up to be a model to show various procedures for a lecture at an Aesthetic conference. I thought it would get good results but I was so incredibly delighted at how amazing he made me look. I had botox, fillers and sculptra... the full gamut, including botox for my TMJ. Dr. Karimi was so kind and personable, and you could tell that he really loves what he does and how he changes people's lives with his magic needles. The results are outstanding and i have had so many people comment that I look about 20 years younger than I am. But the best thing about Dr. Karimi is that he knows when he's done enough. I could have walked out of there looking like a "real housewife" and I happily left looking like me but a more youthful, well-rested me. I plan to keep coming back to him for all the procedures on my aesthetic and surgical wish list

My overall experience with this Doctor was more than words could explain. I went to see him for lip disolver with Hylenex. Recovered quickly with little to no bruising. +100% recommend for any treatments!
