Post-Pregnancy Procedures
Mommy makeovers involve a customized combination of procedures that address common physical changes mothers experience following pregnancy and breastfeeding. Concerns vary from person to person but usually include skin laxity and pockets of fat in the midsection, as well as drooping breasts with lost volume—issues that are difficult (or impossible) to address with diet and exercise alone. A mommy makeover at my Columbus, Ohio, plastic surgery center begins with a thorough consultation. We’ll discuss the options available and talk through your specific needs and desires, to formulate the perfect treatment plan for you. This may include breast augmentation and/or a lift, a tummy tuck, and liposuction. You can pursue a mommy makeover at any time after pregnancy, whether you’re six months, several years, or even decades post-delivery.
Breast Surgery
I’ve performed thousands of breast enhancement surgeries throughout my career as a plastic surgeon, including breast augmentation, breast lifts, and breast reductions. I am also skilled in breast revision to correct prior surgeries, breast reconstruction following cancer or other medical conditions, and male breast reduction, to correct gynecomastia. In all the breast enhancement surgeries I perform, my goal is always the same: to naturally enhance your silhouette and restore your confidence so you feel and look beautiful in your skin. For breast augmentations, lifts, and reductions, that means creating a symmetrical, proportionate, and perky bust. For male breast reduction, that means removing excess tissue to create a masculine silhouette. Abdominoplasty
A tummy tuck, or abdominoplasty, is an excellent way to address loose skin, stubborn pockets of fat, and stretched or separated muscles. Such concerns may occur for a number of reasons, including pregnancy, weight loss, genetics, and age. At my plastic surgery center in Columbus, Ohio, I offer a full tummy tuck (standard), which removes excess skin and tightens the underlying muscles; a mini tummy tuck, which addresses only the lower abdomen; and a fleur-de-lis tummy tuck, to address significant excess skin in the entire midsection typically left behind after extreme weight loss. In some cases, I combine a tummy tuck with liposuction, to better contour the figure. In other cases, a full lower body lift might be the best treatment plan for you.
