He went on to complete multiple residencies, including one in General Surgery at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center (formerly The New York Hospital at Cornell Medical Center); another in General Surgery at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles; and a third in Plastic Surgery at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. He was then selected for prestigious fellowships at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center Burn Center and The Wound Healing Laboratory.
