I am 24 years old. I have loose front teeth because of periodontal disease. So I couldn't speak fluently. Also couldn't bite freely with my front row tooth. I am planning to have dental implant. Before that I need to confirm that whether my speaking skill is affected by dental implants.
I just had an upper right molar extracted. It was the one in the center, so I have molars on each side if the gap. Its unfortunate that I had to get a tooth pulled out so young. I'm turning 23, but my filling broke and had a home in the tooth.
Had an orthodontic treatment, implant afterwards on upper jaw. doc. faced difficulty creating space moved incisors outwards.I now have protruding jaw; missmatched shape, color crowns.I have to strech my mouth too much for showing half of smile.I want to remove my implants. The procedure went on for 5 yrs and I am 22 now. Had them for 1.5+ yrs. I don't want my adjoining teeth to suffer if they are trivial plus I would have to go for ortho treatment again, if it's even possible. What should i do?
I'm 21 years old and I got braces with 4 teeth extractions,11 months back. (The spaces are still there and it will take a year more to close.) Consequences : I notice my cheeks have become sunken. My face was so much fuller and cheeks were chubby, but now I have no cheeks and my face looks narrow as well as elongated. Will my face ever go back to the way it was? ie. Chubby and fuller looking round face? I'm very very stressed and depressed about these changes. Please please help me.
I am 19 years old and had a root canal on my upper second molar a few years back. Eventually everything broke off above the gum line. Should I get it replaced? Would the dental implant be worth it? Also wondering if I should get it done as it might interfere with my possible jaw growth.
I'm 24 and it started out when I was pregnant. I went from having a beautiful smile to not wanting to smile at all because of the appearance of my teeth. I'm the Sales Manager for a large hotel where I live and I'm really looking to get my teeth fixed. Not only is it very painful but I want to smile again. I have two Dental Insurances but I've read that a lot of insurances do not cover Dental Implants yet. And I'm not sure if I want to get dentures. but if that is my only option I will.
I am 18 ready to start college, I have a baby tooth with no adult under it. It is not loose at the moment but in looking at my X-rays the roots are getting short so I know I don't have much longer. It is relatively close to the front and is visible clearly when I smile and talk. How long would I be toothless exactly in the dental implant process? Is there a way to have like a retainer with a fake on it while in the process?
I'm a 21yr female and all 4 of my lower jaw molars (2 on each side) are in really bad. I've already had one taken out last summer, so I'm now left with 3. I understand that if I don't do anything to replace them asap, I'll suffer boneless and other complications. If I have the remaining 3 extracted, what kind of replacements would you recommend and what would be the average cost? Long term, I'm hoping to get dental implants so I would love to know the average cost for 4 molar implants as well.
After two months it was checked by my doctor and implant was moveable. The gum around it is receding back and there are no other signs and symptoms of inflammation.I was taking vitamin D orally and levofloxin to prevent infection. The premolar adjacent to it is moveable too.If canine implant surgery failed for the 3rd time then what are options other than bridge bcz bridge will not be successful in my case.I am 23 years old and final year MBBS student.
