I had apicoectomy done 2 weeks ago on upper front left toot (due to GP overfill that caused bone imflamation) .The root canal was filled with bioceramic root canal sealer during apicoectomy. The material got above the apex as it is visible on x-ray. Surgeon claims it is no problem. But i still have strong throbbing pulsating pain in that area. He told me to wait a bit more. Shall I ask him to redo apicoectomy and remove that excess material. Please advise
CT scan was taken 5 min after the implants were seated. I dont feel any discomfort besides bulkiness on my lower jaw where the 3 implants were inserted. The bottom implants were throbbing for a while but it subsided in intensity. Is there anything that for a specialist seems off or I should double check with my surgeon?I'll be getting another implant in the upper jaw to match the one in the lower jaw. Bone-graft was just done and the surgeon recommends open sinus implant in 3 months. Thank you
I got an implant and bone graft on my left canine tooth area 12 days ago. My stitches are not absorbable. If I get my stitches removed on day 14, will I be able to eat normally/ drink alcohol within 24 hours? Or would that area still have to heal? I have a big event coming up and I want to know if it would be better to leave the stitches in (and eat and drink) or take them out (and eat and drink).
Almost 2 weeks ago I got had a bone graft and dental implant procedure done. Due to an infection or the implant not taking, they removed the implant and bone graft and cleaned out the area and stitched it back up to heal early today. I'm worried that i lost the blood clot on my gum eating earlier and that I'm going to get dry socket. I was wondering what are the signs that would indicate i lost the blood clot on my gum. Thanks!
I have had a implant place and then the stitches came off and now there is a space all around the implant and the gums is this normal and if it is how will it take to heal properly? and will the gums ever reconnect on there own? I do have a appointment with the oral surgeon in a couple days i just want to make sure everything is going okay.
Post Op, 15 days. Day 9 experienced, interior swelling in salvary glands (under tongue), two outside lesions on face unresponsive to antibiotics. Feel run down, lesions swell and hurt, do not seem to be puss filled. Day 16, on 3/5/16 in 5 hrs going to oral surgeon who wants to put healing caps on implants despite infection? Not sure what to do as oral surgeon cares more about liability then the human aspect.
I got a tooth implant and the front teeth crowns replace, but the temporary crowns was different they supported my upper lip the crowns now don't and the teeth on either side of my tooth implant moves a little bit, it's been two weeks only but I'm not really happy with them.
