Hello, I have coolsculpting scheduled and Im reading all about how the technicians should massage afterwards to improve results. I was just wondering if using a theragun would be better than a manual massage to improve results since it would be more vigorous? I own one and I am wondering if I should bring it along. Thanks!!
Always you taken about the 2 minutes massage after remove the Coolsculpting applicator, what about a massage by hands or electric belt EMS relaxation techniques for three - five days after the treatment, it does that help ???
What is the correct way to perform the massage? Surely it isn't to use a scratching motion. Seems that even untrained people would know that massage is done using the fingers and is not a motion where you use your fingernails. The technician used a scratching motion and even through the gloves I could feel her fingernails and told her Ouch!!
Had Coolsculpting on upper abs last year. Post-massage thawing out was extremely uncomfortable. Could barely walk, sit, tie my shoes or get out of bed for 3 days. Now I had CS on flanks and lower abs. Post-massage thawing was uncomfortable but more bearable for flanks and barely happened with lower abs. I walked home at a normal pace, worked out the next day, feel only a bit sore. Why the difference? Got great results on upper abs. Wondering if my results will be as good this time.
I had 3 treatments on my abdomen yesterday, drinking plenty of water, have been wearing Spanks, massaging area in shower and my stomach is very upset...and I dont know if that will counter act anything from the Coolsculpting. My Doctor said dont take any anti-inflammatories. Please let me know. I took two tablets thus far. Thanks!
