I had three laser treatments on a small mole excision scar. The first two treatments were uneventful and gave small improvement. The third treatment was much more intense, took much longer to heal and I am still left with indents. I was told this would fill in over the next 6 months but I am doubtful. Anything I can do or it this permanent?
Hello In the case of slightly indented scarring or atrophic scarring, in expert hands which laser technology is better to smooth out/ blend in a scar which is slightly atrophic? Ultrapulse co2 or erbium? There is so much conflicting scientific information and it seems some experts prefer co2 while others prefer erbium. I am specifically concerned with treatment of a slightly indented scar (not acne!)
9 months post full face and scalp fractional Co2 and Laser Genesis done prior at the same treatment. 6 months post treatment I began experiencing aggressive volume loss that was not present prior. I have deep indentions at demarcation zones on scalp. They both follow my parietal zone and onto forehead. I have depressed lines on the crest of my forehead. I have volume loss along my right forehead and temple region that leaves a constant shadow. What has caused this? What can be done?
Unfortunately, I made a mistake and allowed a Dr to damage me There were several scar issues 1 was an indented scar I am going to get treated with filler and/ possibly subcision/ prp with a different Dr of course -Unfortunately Dr Carniol co2 lasered something we never discussed instead of what we did ( ie the reddish area below that ) and made a barely visible scar into a very visible hypopigmented area Is there anything I can do to fix what he did to me ? No co2 lasers please
I had a scar revision done where the plastic surgeon revised/stitched up my scar and recommended a co2 laser over the scar area after the stitches. Is it possible for co2 laser to be causing indents in the area where he did the laser? Can the laser make a scar look any worse?
I got the co2 laser done on 19th Tuesday and it is now its Saturday the 24th. My skin had peeled off but the skin underneath looks like sandpaper. I have so many indentations on my face now, It so textured and bumpy. From what ive seen when the skin comes off it reveals soft and smooth looking skin. Im worried that it hasn't healed correctly. Im scared the doctor who did it was careless and went too deep and its now going to cause scarring from all these indents. Is this normal?
What can I do? Had PS/neck/face/upper eyelids/brow with CO2 laser. Going on 6 months. Surgeon's RN says they haven't seen this for so long. They were going to do IPL, but when the RN saw me she said it wouldn't be advised. Skin texture is like an orange with grooves from the laser. Why is it taking so long? Anyone know?....GIMME MY WRINKLES BACK!! Devastating.
The vertical indented scar on the bridge of my nose resulted after an attempt at ice pick scar punch excision and closure. This scar is much worse than the small icepick scar. I had this performed with a board verified plastic surgeon. It has been 6 months and I have undergone 5 microneedling sessions and one co2 laser session with zero improvement. Should I consider re-excision?? Is there a high chance of worse scarring?
I am post co2 laser 8 days. My cheek has gone from bleeding the 1st day to brown stripes to the indentations in the pic. I am worried about the indentations. I am co thinking cold water/vinegar soaks and aquaphor. Performed by a plastic surgeon. Will dents go away?
