I dont have severe acne, but any time I get a pimple its always been cystic. Im very bad when it comes to picking at my skin and have caused one scar in between my eyes. The wound was created about 4 weeks ago and this is what Im left with. I tried healing it by keeping is moist in hopes it would scar, but that didnt seem to work. Im so worried because this is in such an obvious place and its the only major scar I have.
I have some hypertrophic scaring left over from cystic acne and a pitted scar left over from having a mole removed as a child. I also have lots of bumps. I am unsure as to what these are, theyre not painful and dont have a head on them but if I squeeze them they do have a small amount of fluid in them. Would co2 be an effective treatment to even out my forehead complexion? Would these active bumps preclude me from having this procedure? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated
I had severe acne breakouts when I was younger and had a lot of cystic or nodular acne. Eventually I was put on accutane after nothing else worked. The treatment worked but now I have severe acne scars and wrinkled skin. I dont smoke or drink. I do however have a small keloid on my chest. Im curious as to whether or not the Co2 laser would achieve the results I want. Im 23 years old and 54 and I weigh 110 pounds if that matters. I also wanted to use the laser in combination with Bellafill.
What treatment should I get to get rid of acne scars and clogged pores? I am more concerned about the acne scars and skin texture, as compared to the clogged pores that have reduced since I have incorporated salicylic acid into my regime. But my clogged pores are not entirely gone. I also do get 1-2 cystic acne per month. I am worried that the CO2 laser will aggravate acne. Thank you!
I had DOT laser done to treat a scaring from cyst acne that was cut and extracted 8 months ago. The doctor PRP to try fix the depressed dent mid March. I had more scaring from the PRP procedure and stitches to close cut. Now they did a DOT CO2 laser 6 weeks ago. I am seeing the square patch after CO2 Laser Treatment. Doctor suggested VBeam laser but I am scared to do any type of laser on my skin. I am Asian brown skin and scar very easily. Now using hydroquinone 4% bleach cream twice daily .
