2 weeks post OP C02 ablative full face with under eye fat transfer. Worried about malar festoons still there & under eye bags from fat transfer. How long should it take until they are more reduced or gone? Dr treated aggressively. I had festoons which were bigger but didnt have bags. Now I see small bags & festoons aren't gone. Is it still too early?
As others with persisting tracklines Im worried as they seem to sometimes remain for a long time. Are they always due to bad/overlapping passes made by the provider? Here day 10&12 after treatment and NO change in lines since 7 days. Was instructed NOT to moisturize after procedure but make 10 min soaks with antiseptic+antibiotic cream twice daily until crust gone. Am I still healing and should be patient or should I worry about permanent damage and seek further treatment ASAP?
I had pigmentation on my cheeks so after consulting with a dermatologist I was recommended to have CO2 fractional laser. I followed all the pre-treatment medications prescribed by my doctor but after my laser from the 4 day my skin has become more darker then before.I am following all the post treatment medications prescribed for me. I am also trying to avoid sun exposure but sometimes I do have to go out and I use sunscreen with spf 50. Please help I am worried.
You can see on the photo a really clear line between the treated and untreated areas. You can see the laser left an obvious texture on my skin. Its still really red and I can still see the red squares and dots (now all raised) clearly. Is this texture normal two weeks post? Is there something i can do to fix this?
I was using Vaseline and vinegar soaks and switched over to DML Lotion. I was considering using eucerin night cream redness relief. One because it is thick and I believe it can keep my skin moisturized and two it is supposed to help with the redness. Will there be any side effects to using a cream like this? Thank you
2 weeks ago I have a facelift and Co2 laser under my eyes. On about day 8 or 9 I awoke with BURNING red eyes and washed the Aquaphore (vaseline) off and reapplied. I started using my prescription dry eye drops about the same time. I stopped after the CO2 just so I wouldn't drip any onto the lasered area. Could the burning be my dry eye drops? Should I continue to use it and see if the burning eases? The burning usually just happens in the a.m. upon waking.
Attached photos are 10 days post-op from Total Fx. Still pretty significant day 14 (no photos). Deep Fx to acne scars, predominantly on jawline/cheeks. Settings: 17.5 mJ, density 4 Active Fx to entire face. Settings: 100 mj density 3. Active areas are slightly pink today but nearly normal but deep Fx areas are still very red. Q's: Is this amount of redness normal? Were settings reasonable, aggressive? Do you notice any PIH developing? How soon after CO2 is IPL/PDL safe to reduce redness.
