Ive had a chin lipo in November last year, and Im still confused about the results. Overall my underchin is much smaller than it used to be, but I still have a kind of bump under my chin that wont go away after 6 months. There has also been almost no improvement in the last few months, despite having weekly massages. My doctor says its just swelling/inflammation and it will go away with time, but Im not sure anymore. Is this still swelling or something else?
Im mid 40s and had chin lipo 10 mos ago. I ended up with bad swelling and hard lumps immediately after surgery. I was told to do hard massages everyday and have been doing so this entire time and still wear a chin strap at night. The lumps were huge on my right side. Theyve gone down in size 80%, but not much change in the past 2 mos. Im open to more surgery, but prefer non surgical options. I meet with the surgeon who did the lipo next month for a follow up.
I had chin lipo, facetite and platysmaplasty 7.5 months ago. I was told it can take up to a year for swelling to go away. I am wondering if this is the case. The side of my chin I have a pocket of swelling that I can see on my profile. When I tilt my head down there is a visible section of swelling or fat in that area. When I was recovering I had a huge chunk of hard swelling and I feel like this is where the edge of that was on that side.
I had Chin Lipo in October of 2022. I was left with this bulge. The dr kept telling me it was swelling and to do warm compresses. After 6 months he went back in to take out more fat and it looks the same. How do I fix this
Hi, I got chin lipo in summer of 2020. I've been pretty happy with it but my results are not symmetrical. One side is tight and the other has a slight protrusion/swelling. It is helped by lymphatic massage, but I'd rather correct this permanently without getting lipo all over again. What do you think is the cause of this, and how can it be fixed?
I am American and had liposuction on my double chin 5 days ago. My bulge under my chin still looks the same if not slightly worse. I had been mugged about 5 years ago and my jaw broken, but I dont think the scar tissue, would have affected my double chin as the tissue never felt strange before and I have had it for years. Is it possible that the swelling will still go way down? I've been on a million blogs and my doctor is on holiday till the 17th. Every where I read seems to say "After 2 weeks" most of the swelling is gone. True? THANK YOU!
First, let me say my doctor said this is normal and I have no reason to distrust him. Im just a bit of a worrier. I have searched and while I have found many posts about lumps and swelling, none of them look like mine. I am 10 days post op from extended submental liposuction. I noticed a cannula shaped raised area under both sides of my chin presumably where he passed the cannula through. Is this swelling? Scar tissue? Will it go away or am I botched?
I had chin lipo about 5 months ago ever since I have got it done , I have had this uneven lump or fat pocket on one side. It was regular lips no laser. It has not changed in size since day one. Can I get it redone ? Could it be swelling 5 months later that never got smaller What should I do? Is there scare tissue that could make it worse if I go for more lipo
I am currently 24 days post op chin lipo(laser). My PS said this is normal and will smooth out. But it hasnt changed at all in two weeks. The lumps and other swelling comes and goes which I expect but I dont know what this is. Im extremely embarrassed.
Chin lipo 1 day post op. Chin looks the same. To me the chin size looks the same as before lipo. Even with swelling shouldn't it look at least slightly smaller? Im worried it didn't work for me. My post op picture has the blue ink markings still from surgery so I apologize.
