I had a endoscopic temporal brow lift a little over six months ago. It has not gone well. Aesthetically I am very upset with the height, shape and contour of my brows and how it is making my upper lids look very hollow. I had previous upper eyelid surgery. Aesthetics aside, my forehead is extremely dry, feels like sandpaper and my hair never gets dirty now. What is happening with my oil glands to my scalp and forehead? I also am experiencing some hair loss at the very lumpy incisions.
I am a 30 year old female. I want to get a brow lift as my right brow hangs a lot lower then my left and it has always looked horrible to me. Unrelated to my eyebrow shape, when I was young I got hit in the forehead and have a permanent lump of scar tissue under the skin. Is this something that could be corrected and removed with a brow lift? I'm not sure how a brow lift works but I think there is a cut into the scalp to access and pull the muscles and tissues in the forehead?
I had a lower face lift, brow lift and neck lift 12 weeks ago. My scalp is still numb except at the staples site. The staple wounds were healing but now 11 weeks later, there is renewed pain, inflammation and increased hair loss. Is this normal? Sides of my face & front of neck remain numb, but I am most concerned about the staple site pain and hair loss. Also, top of scalp itching is becoming unmanageable.
I had an endoscopic browlift with scalp advancement 14 days ago and feel my eyebrows are higher than I wanted. My hairline seems 1cm lower than before surgery but my eyebrows are looking a full 1 cm too high. Will they drop?
I had a brow lift & eye lid surgery. 3 months after surgery the hair close to the incision line has become coarse. When I use a heat iron for curls this hair becomes stiff. The hair affected is only on the top of my scalp. Hair Everywhere is just the same as before the surgery. Could this be the result of anesthesia or damage to the hair follicle due to the surgery incision? My hair was soft prior to the surgery. Now it is stiff and coarse if I use the curling iron
I talked to a guy about the scalp tattoo and he said it cost 800 dollars a session and it is usually 2 or three sessions. That is where I live and I know every place is different. The thing is; is forehead hairline lowering is it permanent? What if I transplant a wig on my head? Is that better? Hair comes and goes. So I need fake hair. Understand?
I had an endoscopic brow lift 14 months ago and I am experiencing severe burning sensation on my scalp. I would like to know why this is happening and can it be permanent. The incision on my left side is hard and bumpy and causes me discomfort. My surgeon has said it is scare tissue and will settle. The burning sensation is causing me distress and I am very worried. I was numb on my scalp for the first 9 months, the burning seems to have started after a that time.
I also have painful migraines, greasy scalp and weird odor. I would like some advice on an endoscopic brow lift and removal of endotine devices. I have severe inflammation as my head is throbbing with painful migraines. I noticed that post eating or even making any facial movements my scalp starts to secrete oil and becomes really greasy and there is a very sporadic odd odor. Are my nerves damaged? I have not been feeling well post brow lift and removal of endotine devices.
One thing I was not aware of before getting my surgery (which was a few days ago) was that my forehead would protrude and appear much larger. The surgeon pulled my skin too high, claiming that it would droop in 2 months. I'm very depressed now. 1. I was wondering if my scalp m would move back close to normal. I'm unable to style my hair since it looks too sparse around the forehead area. 2. Will I be able to have my original eye shape, or would I have this altered eye shape? Thanks a lot.
