I've got a pimple on the scar tissue of my nipple. I had my reduction in January so it has been 6 months now. Is this serious? Should I be worried? It hurts like a pimple would so not bad, but I have had some tiny pains lower down on that breast that come with the consistency of muscle spasms. They are not too bad or debilitating or anything like that.
I am 5 weeks out of breast reduction and lift. Yesterday I noticed that my incision lines under my breast (the outer scars) have become very hard. The left breast, which has healed slower, is more firm, and it feels like a bit of a lump on one area of the incision. The right side also has firmness in that same area. I called my surgeons office and they said its likely scar tissue and suggested massaging with aquafor. Id like a second opinion on this. and if I should insist on being seen.
I had a breast reduction surgery 8 months ago and now have this painful, very soft, reddish and purple swollen area on my incision between my nipple and bottom of my right breast and the skin stretched out and peeled over it! Had no exercise or physical pressure in that area. Is this a scar tissue, fat necrosis or suture granuloma? Will it gradually go away??
Very hard breast but not swollen. Mainaly across the whole under side and outer edge, also above nipple. Rather than small hard knots the entire breast feels almost like one whole hard area? Is this scar tissue rather than necrosis? Does massage actually help? Also, no sensitivity in nipples but a dull ache is developing? Any advice would be appreciated especially as I'm approaching almost a year post op. I went from a J cup to an F Cup.
My scars are very painful massaging them is almost unbearable and cry the entire time. Surgery date 10/17/2016 He went on vacation 1wk after my and left me without a doctor. Abscessed stitch in both breast for 1 1/2 wks. My breast liquefied where the stitch was. Then he said it was my fault that I caused the incision to open which was a lie. I'm not brave enough to post a picture. The crease where the line from the areola meet on both I have a triangle of nothing but scar tissue and deformed.
Had diagnostic mamm. told because biltateral focal assymetey. Did 3d mamm, left breast fine, they did right breast ultrasound also. Tech did real quick exam, radiologist back with results in less then 5 minutes said looked good come back in year. 3d mamm tech said that original mamm noted tissue changes so thats reason for call back, most liky scar tissue. Had reduction 10 years ago, all mamms done at same place past 10 years. Never call back before. Can scar tissue now show up after 10 years?
I am a candidate for reduction mammoplasty. It's determined I have a higher than normal risk for breast cancer due to family history. My doctor would prefer I don't have the procedure due to scar tissue development which she says can be misleading during screeening which could lead to unnecessary biopsies. Can a radiologist determine the difference between scar tissue & a tumor in a mammogram or ultrasound or an MRI?
I had a breast reduction 6 months ago and went from a HH to a D. I love the way my right breast looks, but not my left. The areola is a different size and the nipple remains indented after the surgery. My right nipple looked similar right after the surgery but it blossomed and rounded out. The nipple also has no feeling, and there is a hard lump of scar tissue inside. . I'm aware that the feeling will not come back, but is there anything that can be done to pop out the nipple?
