I'm 62 years old and had a reduction and implants added for fullness about 2 years ago. I have noticed lately that the areola skin seems thin and one of my breasts appear to be changing shape slightly, especially in the areola area. My husband loves to suck on my breasts during foreplay and I'm wondering if this could be part of the reason. Is there anything that can be done?
I had a successful breast reduction in March 2021. It has been fantastic and life changing. During the recovery period I had a thick band from below my right breast to abdomen, like a piece of dry spaghetti. This eventually disappeared but I continue to have very sensitive and bruised like feelings on my lower ribs. Initially my surgeon said it was likely some fascia was pulled up. I just want to find out if its likely this will remain now? Or could it be something totally unrelated?! thanks
I had breast reduction july 2022 using dissolvable staples. I had a lot of hypertrophic scarring and spitting staples and still feel the staples and see some where I had cortisone shot and the skin thinned. Is there any way to help them dissolve theyre still pretty intact.
I had a breast reduction over 2 years ago. Since the surgery Ive had reoccurring rashes on my left breast. The rashes reappear in the same spots. The rashes appear to be from the inside, red, itchy and causes irritability. I met with my PCP to discuss and she didnt have an answer. She just cited skin irritation and prescribed a cream. During the visit she pulled up pictures of my mammogram and pointed out 3 clamps. My rashes are in the exact areas of the clamps. My PS is in a new state now.
I am 20 years old and had a breast reduction when i was 18. I am really happy about my results, but my scars kind of bother me. I also miss having rounded breast with more shape. I wonder if i has impants, would they sit better to hide the scares underneath the breast. Im not concerned with the vertical scar, that one is not visible in bathing suits like the ones that come up around into my cleavage.
Im just a few months shy of my 2 year anniversary of my breast reduction/lift and I still have some pretty noticeable pleating/bunching around the areola. Im assuming after this long that the results I have now are the final results. Is this normal or should I look into having a revision?
I am 2 years post op of getting my breast reduction surgery covered by my insurance. Less than a month after the surgery my skin started bleeding and the surgeon diagnosed me with wound dehiscence. It was treated and closed up but after letting them settle 6 months to 1 year later I also noticed that the shape was very uneven. I am also on a weight loss journey and worried about how my breast will look after. What can be done to improve my breast appearance after I reach my of losing 20-30 lbs?
hi! i had my surgery in july 2020, i was 19 at a time w a bra size of 38DDD, i got an impromptu call to come get the surgery done, the surgeon did not take any before and after photos and also didnt inform me what size she would be reducing them to. After the surgery nothing looked normal as they bottomed out right away, i also saw that i have dog ears and my boobs are way smaller than the proportion of my body, what would be advisable to do? I dont want my boobs any smaller than they are at
Can this bruise be revised by removing the skin where the bruise is? Is there a bruise because the surgeon removed too much fat? He also injected steroids into that breast after the surgery because he said it would help my breast drop and I dont know if that caused the bruise.
Hi everyone! I got a breast reduction in 2021 who left me with (I think) a pseudoptosis, a lack of fullness in the top area and very high nipples placement. From what I read, those are the most common problems after a BR. Is there a way to reshape my breast ? I'm willing to do it again or to have implants. My nipples are so high I can't dress properly.. I don't mind reducing the bottom part (I think it's a bit too large now) Thank you
