I had breast cancer in both breast and had to have a double mastectomy with reconstruction. I was wondering, what type of bra is best to support breast implants long-term? Is it wire free bras or bras with underwire and why? Is there a specific brand or type you prefer? Thanks!

Who decides when it's time to stop expanding? I wanted to go a little bigger but I feel like my surgeon tells me anything because we're not seeing eye to eye.

I'm having mastopexy surgery next week. I plan to return to work on day 5, but m now worried this might be too soon. Is this enough rest time?

Has Anyone done this and done a good job in the London area? My consultation said that my nipple cannot be saved even though there's no cancer on it. Wanted a second opinion.

I'm about to undergo a mastectomy on my left breast and wanted to find a good plastic surgeon that cold do the reconstruction, any recommendations? Thank you

My doctor will not perform that surgery. I received fat grafting and a lift after pi radiation. It's only been 15 months and I am not satisfied with the results.

After a double mastectomy, tissue expanders then silicon implants I want them out.  It has been 3 months since implants.  I always feel very rigid, uncomfortable and painful, specially under arms.  I can feel the implants moving around.  I also can feel very hard tissue on the sides (under my arms).  I want them removed.  I don't care if I have nothing. ...

I've recently had a double mastectomy and a reconstruction surgeon went in and put donor tissue in about three weeks ago. I had my surgery in Arizona and I have recently moved out to the Santa Clara area to start a position. I am in excruciating pain and feel like the donor tissue is being rejected by my body. All I want is to find a competent surgeon that knows what he or she doing. I have a...

I actually had a tissue expander due to an extreme size difference pre-breast augmentation surgery.  If I experienced all this, anyone who has had a mastectomy will experience x5 or x10.  I thought I was thorough and asked a ridiculous amount of questions but, my plastic surgeon has the attention span of a 2 year old and he missed a few things. 1.  I did not have to have a drain...

August 2017 I had a double mastectomy. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to do reconstruction so I waited to make sure I was making the right decision. In July of 2018 I decided to have reconstruction and had the expanders put in. It’s been 9 months and the right side has maybe expanded to an A cup and the left is still flat. My plastic surgeon explained that more tissue was taken Out of my left brea...

I need help in deciding how to eliminate my severe breast animation. I had a dbl mastectomy 1 yr ago, I went with DTI and i am not unhappy with the overall results but unfortunately the implants are moving to the side due to breast animation. I exercise quite a bit and the implants are being pressed sideways. In addition there is a constant sense of pulling and discomfort. I feel as is i am ...

Hopefully this will be my 5th and final surgery. Tired of all the pain and discomfort. Not happy about being flat!

I have been researching and implants have a high rate of problems after radiation 39% first 5 years and 70% within 10 years due to capsular contraction.

My daughter has breast cancer and will need reconstruction surgery after they mastectomy. Did anyone have Kendall Peters or Scott Rotatori? Need our opinions please. Thank you.
