I find that I don't show enough upper teeth when I smile normally/talk even though my teeth are naturally Long. I have to really 'force my smile/smile widely' or/and move my lip to see my teeth which looks unnatural and doesn't suit my face. It seems as if I have the opposite of a Gummy Smile. I understand this can possibly be due to/involve genetics, lip, upper jaw and teeth size/position/angle, facial muscles etc. I am also considering having Rhinoplasty (have adroopy tip
My lower teeth droops down towards the right, i used to sleep a LOT on my right side of the face, and im pretty sure that might have permanently griefed my face. Would braces help? Maybe jaw surgery? If I would end up getting something to fix my jaw, will that help with eye symmetry as well?
I will be taking off braces in 2 weeks (2 months earlier) as braces ruin my face, i aged, sunken cheekbone (severe, looks like skeleton). I wanted to ask if I am not wearing retainer will it bring back my previous face (at lease close to, more fuller I hope). i dont have any extraction but lined up teeth, closes some gaps. I hope if i am not wearing retainer may at least shift back my teeth to where they were. Thanks!
I consulted two orthodontists and one (20 years of experience) said that I need motion appliances + braces, the second one (2 years of experience) said that for my severe overbite invisalign with elastic will solve some of my problem (around 4mm) . My overbite is 12mm (so extremely severe). I am so confused now. Which one should I chose?
I have had braces for 2 years and less than a month ago I extracted my top premolars, because of an impacted canine, my top and lower jaws are extremely narrow and Im afraid that after braces I will get bad results because my jaw is going to become narrower, what should I do? And will this affect the outcome?
Female , age 23, height=160 , weight= 45 kg, skin= combination , round shape face. I already done off braces fiveyears ago for front teeth gap. Now i feel like i have bimaxillary protrusion.. So I want to put braces again without molar and premolar extractions. Is it possible?
My 2nd molars on both sides are rubbing against each other at rest. This has resulted in jaw tension and headaches. To the best of my knowledge, I don't have any other occasional issues apart from this. What are the options available to get this issue resolved. I do understand that I need to be evaluated by a dentist or an orthodontist, but I want to make sure that I'm aware of all the treatment options before visiting one.
