Cheap Laser Hair Removal Not Such A Good Idea

Laser hair removal clinics are sprouting up around me like mushrooms (it rains here A LOT). The local free newspapers have dozens of ads for laser hair treatments.

Besides raising doubt that this city is hairy enough to sustain such a supply of hair removers, it made me wonder, how are the laser hair centers different from each other?

Certainly one difference is price--the rates I got quoted to zap my bikini area varied by several hundred dollars.

However, my hope of getting a cheap laser hair removal was dashed when I learned that training and expertise is critical. That's what my dermatologist friend told me. Unskilled operators of the laser hair machines often cause serious harm to their customers.
