I got the vitalize peel for my melsma. It was supposed to be a mild peel w/ no down time. I had it applied in the office and drove home. About 3 hours later I KNEW something was wrong. My face started peeling like mad and the peel scared by face and made the melsma 100X worse.

Great care should be used when having this done. I recommend doing a test spot 1st. I actually should have filed a law suite against the DR.
