Hello. I am 44 years old and had upper and lower Blepharoplasty surgery approximately 3 months ago. No fat taken from upper lids.. love the results! But, some fat and skin taken from lower lids leaving them with deep wrinkles, most obvious when I smile. What is recommended? 1st 2 pics are before, 2nd 2 pics are after.. CO2 laser was also performed on lower eyelids during my Blepharoplasty. Also, under my right eye has a dark circle. The surgeon believes it to be hyperpigmentation. Appears to be dark from hollowness to me I am applying hydrocortisone 2% to the under eyes, hoping it helps. My MAIN concern is still the wrinkles when smiling.
I got double eyelid surgery about 3 months ago. The scarring is still present and theres some thick scar tissue where the incision was made near the medial corners of my lids. The surgeon didnt do the best job. I was wondering if my double lids will ever heal properly or if Ill need corrective surgery. What do you think is the best option to fix this?
Surgeon says it could be a hytrophic scar At the time of surgery he said my tendon needed repairing from wearing contact lenses it had stretched I don't understand why the left eye looks normal and my right eye is very out of place I can't properly look up and the lump is still there even though it still swollen I think the lump will still be there and it's causing the crease to look high.I dont know what to do can someone help me plz or any recommendations.
Hi I'm exactly 3 months post-op double asian eyelid surgery. My crease height is too high, deep, and my left eyelid's crease isn't formed. I'm aware of the difficulties of revisional eyelid but is decreasing crease height possible and making the incisional line shallower. You can't see it in the photo, but my crease has that swollen sausage like form that I feel appears unnatural. And if surgery is feasible, how long should I wait? Thanks
I've had my double eyelid surgery 3 months ago and the scars are still visible with no improvement .. anyway I decided to get a fraxel laser treatment after 6 months not only because of the scars but also because i have some wrinkles in my left upper eyelid and i have a thin fold along the eyelash line which make my eyes look uneven .. will fraxel laser solve this problem? or I need another surgery to solve it! I've asked my Dr. and he told me it could be solved by laser but i want to be sure
I had Asian eyelid surgery 3 months ago, and my incisions are too high, too deep and uneven. There are also some hard scar tissue beneath the skin. I look completely unnatural. I wanted to know, for future reference, if revision surgery to lower the crease is even possible so I can look a bit more natural.
I had uneven eyes before (one with no crease and one with a small crease) so I decided to get surgery. I had upper eyelid surgery over 12wks ago with ptosis repair because one of my eyes had a mild case of ptosis. They looked even the first few weeks but now they look noticeably different. The eye that had ptosis is the one that looks like it is smaller (or has a smaller crease) now. Did my surgeon not completely fix my ptosis? Or the incisions were uneven? Or am I just still swollen?
I've had my eyelid surgery (Double eyelid surgery and epicanthoplasty) 3 months ago. Healing went well. Yesterday i noticed a bump next to my inner corners and it hurts a little bit. I also added a photo to show how it looks like. Hope that somebody can help me because I just don't know what to do.
I'm a little over 3 months post op. I notice my eyes are uneven. It didn't bother me before. And I really like them now then before but are my eyes still swollen? My left eyelid is higher then my right. My scar on my left eye is almost gone. But you notice how it's higher incision then my right? My right eye scar is bumpy ish. I heard that once the scars are gone then the swelling is gone, is that true? I need some reassurance.
