Artefill
Artefill is a long-lasting injectable filler for the correction of nasolabial folds or smile lines. Artefill contains millions of synthetic microspheres (polymethylmethacrylate or PMMA) suspended in purified bovine (cow) collagen. Artefill is U.S. FDA approved and became commercially available in the U.S. in 2007 and is now being marketed by Suneva Medical. Artefill is only marketed and sold in the U.S. A previous generation product (Artecoll) is available in many countries outside of the U.S.
