Hi, I am Dr. Nassif, and I get blog questions all the time. They go, "Tell us, Dr. Nassif, about the rhinoplasty procedure." And when I hear that, I'm going, "What do you exactly mean about the procedure?" And usually what they want to know is it an open rhinoplasty or a closed rhinoplasty.

In a closed rhinoplasty is where we're making incisions inside the nose, and there's no visible little incision here which is, if it's closed properly with great stitching effort, you're not going to see a little scar there. The open rhinoplasty, again, includes a little scar right here at the base and inside the nose. That's an open rhinoplasty.

That is the rhinoplasty procedure. I hope this helps. Thank you.
