I usually encourage all my patients to bring their photographs when they were younger. And I tell them that it is a restoration and rejuvenation procedure. We don't usually try to change something unless they specifically ask for a feature to be changed. In the restoration process, we assess what they need. If it's something that just needs a filler due to lack of volume, we address those issues with fillers. However, if a patient needs too much of a filler, in my opinion they're surgical candidate because overfilling a patient can look unnatural and is very costly.
