When we look at each other, the tip of the nose is almost where eye goes immediately so you want to be really, really careful about any intervention that we institute around the tip. Now, most rhinoplasticians who spend a significant amount of time of their career addressing the nose will be very, very cautious not to rotate that tip too superiorly. When the tip rotates superiorly, then you begin to have a view into the nostrils, which when excessive is very unattractive so tip with tip position is essential. Step number one is the tip. When I do rhinoplasty, I always do the tip first so the tip sets the stage for the rest of the procedure.
