Does liposuction produce permanent results? Well, it is my feeling that liposuction surgery is really the only way of permanently reducing the fat tissue. There are other things being used to approach fat, but most of them are not taking away the fat cells themselves. With liposuction, you are removing the fat tissue. And whatever percentage I choose to remove doesn't come back in an area. Now, it is important to be able to tell the difference between the fat itself and fullness or looseness from other causes. So if a person after liposuction gains a lot of weight or stops working out and being in good tone, an area can become full for those reasons, or loose for those reasons. But the fat tissue itself in those areas is not coming back, and that is permanently removed by the liposuction surgery itself.
