Some women are able to breast feed exclusively and some women are not; that
doesn't change with breast augmentation. Avoiding an incision around the
areola does give the best chance for preserving the ability to breast feed,
but it's definitely an individual factor. Some things you can do to give
yourself the best chance of being able to breast feed in the future are
avoid an incision around the areola, and avoid an implant that's too large
for your chest, since this can cause nerve damage and potential atrophy of
breast tissue.
