Breast reduction is, first of all, extremely common surgery. It is usually done more for therapeutic reasons, for back, neck and shoulder pain, rashes underneath the breast and things like that. It also has a side benefit of generally a pretty nice cosmetic change too. A typical breast reduction would also incorporate a nice lift for the patient. Usually scars for reduction are going to be more involved than your typical breast lift and certainly much more than a breast augmentation.
