Male Voice: So fractional resurfacing can be painful. When we do the fractional repair which is the CO2, we actually give oral sedation. We do nerve blocks and we also used tumescent anesthesia injected in the entire face so patients are comfortable and they really don't feel much of anything.

The fracts will restore. We typically use a topical numbing cream as well as a topical chiller that the patient directs and that for some people can be uncomfortable.
